Besakih Temple

Saya di paksa menyewa/membeli kain di area parkir mobil yang dari arah kintamani, padahal saat beli tiket masuk sudah include free kain dan tour gaet dan saya juga di tipu ttg penyewaan payung, saya tidak minta payung tapi di todong disuruh pakai payung.

Worth seeing, but having to fend off hawkers takes away from the sacred surroundings. I tried to show interest to find out more but the guide gave very poor details. Sad that I have to learn from Wikipedia and not a local Hindu.who then expects a tip. It is the largest temple complex in Bali and the views must be amazing on a clear day.

Beautiful temple but experience ruined because of pushy money grabbers. Guide wasn't that informative. Tried to make him work for his money by asking him lots of questions. Asked straight out for a tip afterwards. Women at the start pushing offerings into your hands, saying you have to have one and then charging an extortionate price. There are far more pleasant temples with more informative guides to see in Bali. Stay away from this tourist trap.

This is the largest hindu temple in bali, the view is beautiful.be careful with the citizen, the force people to rent sarung (the rent is free in ticket box), rent umbrella, sell postcard and etc

Pas turun hujan disana jadi agak susah naik ke atas. Pembelian tiket sudah termasuk guide ke pura, ojek sekali jalan. Tidak perlu beli bunga yg ditawarkan di depan pura, biasanya agak memaksa yg jual.

- during journey ask your driver to stop at some places for photography.

Also, dont expect that you will be allowed to go inside the temple.

Indah pemandangannya, sejuk, nyaman dan aman. Ada pemandu wisatanya, berada di bawah kaki gunung agung. Klo cuaca cerah terlihat jelas gunung agung nya.

The mother temple of Bali. 50 plus temples both public and private. Beware the temple guides they attach themselves like leaches.

The biggest temple in Ubud. If you are lucky you can see the volcano. Amazing place to visit full of temples.

Absolutely amazing. We had the best tour guide who really gave us an in-depth explanation of Bali's Hindu culture. Be warned, even if it is cloudy you will get sunburned.

Known as the mother temple in Bali this is one of the biggest temples that we saw at Bali. A very beautiful temple with fantastic views is dedicated to the trinity - Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The entry ticket is IDR. 60000 which includes a Guide + Sarong. The guide who accompanied us took us around the entire temple and explained things in all detail. Do take a guide if you come here.

Largest and oldest temple in Bali. This was my favorite place because of it's serenity, peace and view. You can see the coast from the highest point of the temple and it's a breathtaking view! I was also very impressed by the little girls selling post cards at the entrance: they know over 20 languages, including romanian. Our guide was amazing! He gave us a lot of information not only about the temple, but also about the balinese culture, traditions and history.

Temple itself is beautiful. But locals are cheaters. They always try to take as much cash they can. Its better to avoid this temple. After paying charges they always ask for more money. Ruined my visit to this temple.

Known as the "Mother Temple of Bali", Besakih is the largest in the Island. As usual one is not allowed to go in to the actual temple premises but can climb and see all the temples in the complex. Unfortunately when we went there Mount Agung was covered in mist and couldn't be seen. It was the day prior to a full moon and many pilgrims were arriving to participte in the traditional pooja.

Local touts are horrible, avoid them at all costs.

Pura terbesar. Untuk tiket domestik 40.000 dari parkiran mobil. Itu sudah termasuk, guide, ojek, dan entry ticket. Anda di wajibkan menggunakan sarung jika memakai celana pendek, namun jika sudah menggunakan celana panjang boleh tidak menggunakan sarung. Dan ini merupakan tempat ibadah, diharapkan kita jg menjaga kesakralan tempat ini.

Pura Besakih adalah sebuah pura yang berlokasi di kaki Gunung Agung, dan merupakan pura terbesar di Bali. Di Pura Besakih sering diadakan acara keagamaan Hindu karena Pura Besakih dipercaya sebagai tempat suci dan merupakan induk dari seluruh pura yang ada di Bali.
