Great Value stay in the heart of Legian! Walk to Kuta or Seminyak without ever leaving the waters edge. The pool may not look the clearest, but is fine and nice swim. Considering we paid about $35 Aus dollars a night for such a great location we were very happy with service and room. Shampoo and conditioner smelled so great loaded with jasmine I think. Restaurant attached and beach boys in front are great as well. Feels like the real Bali experience. Security guard stops traffic for his guests often so had to tip him when leaving, always smiling. Will stay again for sure.

If you want a place in the heart of Kuta, this is the right place.
Just across the famous Kuta Beach But, eventhough its location is in the middle of the crowd street, inside you'll only see the green and the pool, with serene and calming ambience.
We stay at family room, so its very spacious.
And, even Alam Kulkul is an old hotel, but its well maintained and clean.

It’s a 40 yrs old hotel, check in took forever, they gave at 8pm, and founds frogs in bathroom, breakfast can’t describe… pls understand… negative.the manager didn’t even care when I complained abt frogs.wow

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Nice cold air con and great value. We loved swimming in both pools. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us. And we wish you a very busy time to come.

A great resort. The staff are friendly and attentive and there are a number of activities that you can get involved in during your stay.

We had there traditional barbecue and watched Balinese dancing complete with costumes.

There are two pools, both in a beautiful garden setting. Additionally, a cocktail bar serves one of them.

Great location, lovely atmosphere, and beautiful pools.
Only thing I could say was the hot water system in the area of 3102 was luke warm. It was doable because of the Bali humidity- but you couldn’t have a bath in it.
Breakfast was decent- does the job for most and the speciality coffees you can pay for are well worth it.
Service was across all boards extremely prompt. Recommend on service alone. Well done and see you next time!

Staff is very friendly, good breakfast! We stayed in the alam lanai rooms and deluxe alam lanai rooms but the furniture in this rooms is outdated.

Good location right in front of the beach.check in fast.nice room.bog bathroom with unique design. I am staying in villa so I did not face many problems. But I noticed two thing.the tea cub were not clean well.and the palte in the breakfast has bad smell.totally the breakfast is average.

Great little resort with nice staff, however, neither pool was ever clean. The rear pool was absolutely filthy the whole time, even after making complaints. Tip: stay in the newer rooms if you want a standalone shower without shower curtain.

Very tidy place, with a Balinese feel. Very clean. Free water was left in our room every morning, or you could just ask for it at the desk. The food was amazing. The staff here were just so friendly. Every morning at breakfast they would take our son to feed the Koi, turtles and squirrels while we ate. Many of the staff even learned our son's name, and always stopped to talk to him and us. Will definitely be back here.

We really had a great experience here. We stayed in a villa for 4 days.
If you want to stay in an accommodation where you get a five star service and have a true Balinese experience, I highly recommend it here.
It is away (but not so far) from the busy Kuta clubs but convenient enough to enjoy being close to the beach.
It is along the stretch of 4 to 5 star hotel chains.

Love this Balinese style hotel in Kuta Beach. 1 minutes walk to beach across the road. Natural and calm environment. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Especially love the Jamu Spa package in hotel. Worth it for the massage and spa.

Great little hotel across from Legian beach and close to everything. Lots of different room types to choose from.
If you are a pool person con add ider a bigger hotel as pool area very small. Breakfast adequate but not fantastic

Our room was not ready when arrived at 4: 30pm (we had announced an arrival at 3pm), hence downgraded our room. My feet were black after 2mn walking in the room. There was poo on the toilet. In the restaurant the table mat was dirty.
The swimming pools are much older than it seems to indicate in the pictures.
The outside does look beautiful.
In all, extremely disappointing.

Hotel alam kulkul sangat rekomended untuk tamu yang ingin istirahat dengan nuansa alami. Tempatnya di kuta tetapi suasananya seperti di desa ubud. Fasilitasnya cukup lengkap mulai dari restoran, pool, bar, spa, alam club, meeting room. Karyawannya ramah2 dan jegeg.

Old establishment but nice.
Ive always gone back to alam kulkul, nice friendly staff. Food nice, they can do better with breakfast. The only downfall is the mosquitos, but then again its a common thing in bali. Location is great close to legian shops, across the road from kuta beach. The pools are nice and clean. I do recommend
