Beautiful place traditional Balinese architecture excellent service great food perfect location in Kuta on the beach

What a perfect hotel. The staff is so very nice and does everything they can to make you happy. The location is perfect, you cross the road and you are on the lovely sandy beach and there are numerous restaurants within a 5-minute walk. The rooms are fine. Perfect rain shower, good beds. After we checked out and then went to the beach, we were able to use a room for free when we returned to the hotel to freshen up. If that's not service.

I love the place, seem it located in front of beach. Btw i wish to stay more night, this is first time staying this hotel. Could consider it as the staff is very friendly and helpful. Don't forget tips bellboy as they helpful bringing your bag okay guys.

We've had the best stay ever in Bali at Alam KulKul. The staff is incredibly friendly and very generous with their time. The place is elegant (in case you want to impress your friends), and about 20 meters from the Legian beach.just perfection! I fell in love with AlamKulKul and we are booking to come back in March 2024. Also, don't forget to pay a little extra to have access to the VIP Club! Free food and drinks in a very welcoming environment, next to the reception.

Have stayed here twice and will probably stay again in future. Great service and the buffet breakfast is one of the best in bali! Rooms were clean and aircon was mint. Only bad thing is theres no exhaust fan in the bathroom (enclosed bathroom) so it kept damp for a while after use. Overall, good experience and would highly reccomend. Location is right across from the beach and very close to legian. Brilliant!

Great service from the minute we arrived. - Ni Putu Ayu Diah Aprilianti (Diah) was often our waitress for breakfast. She was a hard worker, always with a smile and made an enormous effort with English.

My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room was a bit musty, the shower had issues with clogged pipes, and the bathroom remained constantly damp, which was uncomfortable. In addition, the photos of the hotel did not quite match reality. However, the staff were friendly and the exterior setting of the hotel was beautiful. The location was ok, with plenty of shops nearby, although there was limited provision of activities in the area.

Hmmm back to hotel nya, ga nyentrik pintu gerbang nya tp ternyata ke dalam luas bgt, adem, serasa bukan di pinggir pantai, kamar luas, cocok buat yg bawa anak2, akses deket kemana, ga berisik (ga ada party2) eaaaa.jd bs tidur nyenyak.makanan oke.kolam renang ada 2.
Cmn air kamar mandi aja kalo pagi2 ato udh agak lama g dipake berbau.

I am not sure where to start with my review, so I am going to describe the interactions my wife and I had with the staff.

Security staffs
They are very helpful, especially Pak Dewo, kind, and courteous. They are your best friend, to learn about Bali.despite the shortage of the motorcycle to rent, Pak Dewo found us a motorcycle to rent for 3 days.

Hotel front desk
The front desk staff are very calm, soft-spoken, and courteous too, along with the smell of the incense and Zen atmosphere, we felt at ease, and relaxed after a long flight.

Room
My wife chose the Alam Villa, and Oh my, the room ambiance get us into a comfy, zen moment the minute we stepped in.
We felt like we are staying in a spa for 5 days. The room service staff did an excellent job and was quick. Swimming pools are nice, few chaises to lie down and get vitamin D.

Buffet
The morning buffet was a perfect way to start our day, with plenty of food to choose from. Located on the 2nd floor with an ocean view.

The sidewalk restaurant
Offers some delicious cocktails, Volcano pizza, and chicken and veggie pizza.

We would definitely stay at Alam kul kul again and recommend it to others.

Everything with super clean which was very important to me at this point.

The staff are lovely and the location is amazing, you are pretty much in a walking distance to anything in Kuta or Seminyak beach area.

The restaurant they have at the entrance is great with some amazing food.

My only slight problem was that I had weak wifi in my room and the internet was pretty slow, which was annoying when it was raining and you wanted to get somethings done but no internet.

They also had an issue with the water pressure and water felt mostly not clean, but they did give us a written warning with some cookies in the apology letter and I really appreciated this move.

Overall very recommended.

Despite the hotel being on a very busy road, once you are inside you cannot hear any of that noise. The grounds of the hotel are very nice, they have 2 pools but the one right outside our bedroom was closed off for 2 weeks which wasn't great. The room itself was nice, I agree with others that the bathroom needs a bit of work e.g limescale, no hooks for towels, water from the shower smells. The other pool was nice and even though there's only a few chairs, there were never more than a couple by the pool, maybe that's why they never had someone there at the bar serving drinks. The restaurant in the hotel is very nice and serves decent food and drinks. The hotel have drivers available for hire for day trips or picking up/dropping off to/from airport/Hotel. All in all it was fine, but not great. Shoutout to Angie from the restaurant, she remembered mine and my partners name every day and was very nice.

Stayed here for one week in mid November 2022, in the Alam Lanai rooms near the garden pool. Absolutely fabulous! The rooms were big and in good condition. Bed was very comfy with great pillows. Having the pool just outside our rooms was amazing. The staff were fantastic and super friendly. The breakfast was awesome! Lots of choice and an egg station too. The rooms are serviced every day and includes two bottles of water each day. We got a bowl of fruit and a welcome drink on arrival. We spent all our time in the garden pool so I can’t comment on the main pool. The gardens were beautiful and very well maintained. Quick walk into either Legian or Kuta, so in a great spot. The restaurant out the front (Papa’s) serves delicious food. The cocktails were delicious too (especially the Pina Coladas).

Location was perfect and the staff were excellent they have really an excellent customer service. But the room that i booked was really bad a lot of mosquitoes and Gecko i got annoyed from the sound of the gecko at night especially when im sleeping.

One-liner: Very good resort, bathroom could use some maintenance

Would we stay here again: Yes.

What we liked: Nice resort with two nice pools. Room was good. Staff was friendly. Location was SuperB, cross the street and you had the beach. Furthermore, there lively neighborhood of Kuta was just a step away. Nice shopping malls and restaurants nearby.

Improvement: The 'waterfall' shower head was not working and there was a lot of lime scale in the bathroom. Could definitely use some maintenance. Furthermore, there were to few beds at the swimming pool.

Beautiful quiet hotel right on Legian beach. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Could not fault the hotel. The only thing that could make this place better would be a back/side exit onto jl bene or jl been melasti

Friendly staff and good service rescues this from a 2 star review…. Arrived late due to delayed flight and woke to find a mess from a construction/ renovation outside our window and room not quite what was in pictures at time of booking…. Moved us to another room that was ok… good location across from beach and rooms clean, well air conditioned and good shower
