Tastes fantastic, came here everyday the duration of my stay in ubud. You guys have to try the goat leg. It’s marvellous. Overall i loved the vibe and taste. Cost efficient too I think.
Dinner time makes a different vibe to lunch but must try~! 10/10 recommend
Absolutely delicious, flavoursome food in a relaxed setting. My family shared a number of dishes which was a great way to try a few things. The BBQ chicken and noodles were particularly yummy!
Very good choice in Penestanan, esp for their gorgeous BBQ goat leg with yellow rice. 120k, enough for 2. Net prices, which I support
The food is the best, i've been there 2 nights and is the perfect place for relax and enjoying food! Their local food is really good to taste
It's okay but I don't understand why it is full every night. There is warungs on this street, which seemed a lot more friendly and authentic, such as Bubu for example.
We went here to eat something else then the places we went to a lot. It was okay, but not memorable, or a welcoming atmosphere. We liked the cineman drink!
Warning: their entrées are the size of mains. We basically ordered 4 mains and left feeling too full. Bowls are very cool carved wood with banana leaves.
Gao-gado was a pleasant surprise.

A very good find.simple delicious food.and inexpensive. A few variants to the typical menu in warungs around Ubud. Wish we'd discovered it earlier.
Giving a one star because there’s nothing lower I can give. No offence to others. But this place is seriously one that cheats people who are not Asian. Ordered a crispy duck but it came totally covered with oil. Order a clear goat’s meat soup, instead it tasted like hot coconut milk with meat. Horrible!
I'm sitting in Warung Mendez as i write. Couldn't recommend more highly. Brilliant food and lovely people. We've been in Penestanan for over a week and tried nearly all the small warungs and this is the one we keep coming back to. A must visit.
The food was absolutely delicious, staff were attentive. We ordered far too much but it was all very good and very cheap for the quality. So yummy!
It's an overpriced place for average food but please listen to me and don't order Steak.
At the end of the meal, I walked away empty stomach and my dog didn't. But he's still skinny.
Cozy place with nice atmosphere and good cost-value ratio. Wide selection of food, from Indonesian to Thai and Western. They also have good desserts. Very tasty. Definetly recommended!
