A really great hair colouring experience! My hair stylist who attended to me, Yuki, was very professional and friendly. He recommended me on what hair colour would look best on me, and I enjoyed the whole experience with him. My hair was frizzy too, but now it’s soft and I’m in love with my new look. Would definitely recommend my family and friends, and would come here again. Thanks Yuki!

This place is amazing! The therapists were all very attentative to my needs, friendly, hospitable, and their quality of work probably one of the best I’ve had. The gel manicure and pedicure I’ve had stayed on perfectly for like 3 weeks. The hair treatment I had felt luxurious that I went back within the same week to get it done again to keep the bounce in my hair and keep it from drying bec of pool water. I highly recommend this place! A must try in Bali!

We recently visited The Shampoo Lounge in Seminyak, and I'd like to share my experience. Despite undergoing construction, they were still open for business. My wife decided to indulge in a hot stone hair spa, and my daughter opted for the princess hair spa package. Super friendly staff and customer service is awesome. The comfort provided during the treatments was evident when my daughter actually fell asleep – a testament to the coziness of the salon. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her treatment as well. It's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side, but the overall experience was undeniably positive.

Gary gave me the best blow wave I’ve ever had! I have excruciatingly difficult hair and he treated it with such care & just the blowout made my hair look great.

Very clean and professional. Got a facial from Benny and it was amazing. He is very friendly and i got great results.
Also got a hydration mask for my hair and it was really great.
Not the cheapest place, but worth the extra cost.

This place is sooo cool.

Started with a hairwash. Fade was great despite the language barrier. Followed up with beard trim and hot cloth before using a fresh razor blade.

Facial with Win so so relaxing. Cleaned my blackheads with no pain. Had a foot massage at the same time by Onix with the perfect amount of pressure. Before I knew it, I was asleep "with a little bit snoring" (in their words.

Next time, I'm coming to Bali scruffy and starting here!

5 for Marketing. But 0 for Communication. STAFF NEEDS BETTER TRAINING.

Wulan wrote to me, an hour and a half after texting: “We do apologoize Sir. We can't give the price estimation before to do the consultation with the stylist. Our Stylist need to check your hair directly”

But that’s not what their appointment form said: “Email us your current hair picture and an example of what you’re after, and we’ll send you an estimate price”.

Texting went back and forth for 1.5 hours. I finally concluded that between shoddy communication, bait and switch activity, dishonesty in texts, and ignored requests to communicate with the owner, this place will not get my business.

Her ensuing texts primarily defended herself. I think that people running a salon with international clientele should be ready to operate from an international realm. This is, often, a training issue: staff need to read texts and understand what the customer is saying; in lieu of defensiveness. And there’s no excuse for ignoring a request (three times!) to get in touch with the owner.

Since she would not put me in touch with the owner, I wrote to her: I have no choice but to post my situation publicly.

Then I read more reviews here. Quite a few negative ones, which only reinforced my decision to seek a different salon. But what I saw after each review was disheartening. The owner made detailed points to cut down each reviewer. I realized that I, too, will no doubt get their wrath. I fully expect the owner’s response to be defensive, and show you (other readers of reviews) how “wrong” I really am… again, that seems to be the _modus operandi_ here when bad reviews arrive. What a sad way to run a company, that has so much promise in their marketing approach.

One hour after writing that I have no choice but to post a review, the owner called. No great surprise.
And nor was l surprised when he became argumentative on phone. Although he admitted that he hadn’t even read the text messages between us, he was both critical and dramatic: “Dont crucify Wulan”, he said. At the start of the call he asked me, “Where are you from? ” as if that matters. And later, “What is your business”- which of course is not his business to know, at all.

He literally would not stop his argumentative/defensive/closed conversational stance. Eventually I realized that he’s like that classic Monty Python skit, where a guy goes into an office where there’s a man who is specifically paid to argue. No matter what the guy says, the man turns it into an argument. Unlike the guy in the skit, though, I don’t fetishize an argument. I tried to end it a few times, but he was interminable, and I had to hang up - there literally was no other choice. I had to back off from that toxic situation.

I won’t be surprised if he responds here charging me with being rude for hanging up on him but - honestly, there’s a limit.

And this all started because I wanted a hair procedure.

Im a tourist visiting and was looking for a salon, this business had good reviews. Very happy with the end product. Ended up getting a low light hair colour with dean. He had a lot of expertise and made sure i was happy with the service. Salon is clean and i was offered tea or coffee. If i travel bali again i will definitely be back. I recommend for tourists.

Senior stylist definitely did his best with just a simple full fringe and layers for my long hair. Took his time and made sure to have the best outcome. The first hairstylist that definitely chopped my hair just THIS much and not +2 inches:)

Enjoyed my 45 min foot massage by Juni a lot! She used an appropriate amount of strength, it was so relaxing I fell asleep! She also pointed out that my toes had ingrown, even though they were just freshly painted on at another spa place the day before lol. Would have chosen to do my mani and pedi here anytime.

Only downside was two friends who were talking so loudly they were screaming across the room

Herman was the barber of that day, he did well on spotting the finish and perfection for fade buzz cut. Made it clean and sharp look as what I requested. Satisfy guaranteed and beyond barbershop.
