Santi Mandala Villa & Spa

I just checked out today, and it has been a perfect experience in everything, the service of the entire staff, the room, the food in the restaurant.in short everything, surely if I had to go back I would, to say the least. It is true that it is a little far from Ubud but you know where you are going

Very nice staff and quiet place to relax. Ordered food and taxis from grab but beware the locals don't like that

You will be taken to ubud once a day at 10am. Rest find out. No TV in room after corona removed. Staff really make an effort to help you as best they can. There is absolutely nothing to do around the hotel.

It is completely unacceptable that toilet in garden villas is open without any prior information of clients or any mention on website.

Large hotel complex with superb infinity pool. The rooms are spacious but a bit dated. Very nice outdoor bathroom. Lovely staff. This establishment deserves to be refreshed.

Amazing stay right in between the lush green forest with the sound of the river gushing to soothe those tired souls. Little far from the hustle of ubud town area. But it totally makes up for with its peace and tranquility.

The best possible stay. The absolute top-notch hotel I've ever been at. Consider this a victory if you don't mind a little bit more classic style and less modern furnishings but still want breath-taking vistas. The staff was incredibly polite, and the breakfast was wonderful.

The staff is very friendly, the place is between modern & traditional - we really had a pleasant stay here for 4nights, its clean & just beautiful.

We checked in Santi Mandala on 14dec 22 in rooms 104 & 406. Though ambience was good, found the resort lacking in basic amenities! Family members were put up in two different villas very differently. With steep steps for every villa, it is extremely difficult.for older people or people with leg pain. People with any kind of disabilities kindly stay away! This resort seem to cater only to select ppl! Then they better shd advertise so! For such a big resort they have only one battery car! Weird! Indifferent service n rude responses put us off n we checked out the next day after spending the night with lizards n beetles! Staying in natural splendour is fine but wd prefer friendly service, basic comfort n comfortable stay during my vacation.

Place first of all is gorgeous and clean. Rooms have everything you need and all the people in the hotel are super kind! The food is really nice and prices are good. They have a taxi service into town and will help you with anything when you need it. Such a lovely and kind place. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing stay. By far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. If you're okay with a bit more traditional style and not as modern but with BREATHTAKING views then consider this a win. Breakfast was more than amazing and the staff were extremely friendly. Dinner was really cheap for how amazing the food was and the spa left me feeling completely Zen (best sleep of my life). The drinks are reasonably priced although the bar tender made my drink too strong (no complaints with that though haha). The pool was fantastic and the waterfall and rice terraces were beautiful (although they are hidden so make sure to explore the hotel grounds). Only downsides were that the outdoor toilet got wet bad when it rained (not hotels fault) and that I thought the room I got came with TV (much preferred the view though). The grounds were so amazingly beautiful and plenty of wildlife around too. Although a bit far from main town ubud it is 100% on my bucket list to go back.

Had a wonderfully relaxing week being looked after by brilliant staff. Food was delicious also, with a great selection.

We did not enjoy our stay at Santi Mandala.

I will start by saying that the property and rooms were lovely and worthy of 4 stars, with private rooms and pleasant outside bath and shower amenities.

Most pressingly, they LIED to our faces about cleaning our room! We suspected that they were not changing our sheets in line with their policy as we found sand in our sheets even though we had not visited the beach since the day before, we also noticed that they were not changing all of our towels. This happened on several days. On the last day my husband placed an item within the pillowcase to catch them out, and sure enough after they had supposedly changed all sheets, the item remained in the same place. We called them and requested that they change our sheets, and they told us they had! So we explained that we could prove they hadn’t, after which they apologised and sent staff down to change them. We did not remove the hidden item in the pillowcase, and after waiting outside for 10-15 minutes for them to change our sheets, we checked again and the item was STILL there! At this point, we just took the pillowcases from them and CHANGED THE SHEETS OURSELVES as the staff clearly cannot be trusted to do it.

The food at the restaurant was average at best. One morning, when we had a tour booked, we ordered only toast, fruit and juice. This took over 20 minutes to come out, and one of the fruit platters was missing. We only ate dinner there once as we were not impressed, but every morning at breakfast they would forget/need reminding of at least one item from the order. Some of the breakfast dishes were brought out to us cold, such as the sausages.

Whenever we called for room service or any other service we found it to be very slow. Drinks were served with environmentally unfriendly plastic straws. The weather (this was no fault of the hotel’s, just be warned) was not good at all compared to costal areas of the island, it rained everyday and there was little sun. We were eaten alive by mosquitos despite the nets. There is no where to eat in walking distance beside the hotel restaurant, so be prepared to order many taxis.

The service was very poor. The staff, while friendly, were slow and inattentive.

Sangat direkomendasikan untuk para wisatawan yg berkunjung ke Ubud Bali dengan nuansa pemandangan alam yg segar fresh, ruangan bersih, para petugas dari lobi, resto, teknisi sampai sekuriti sangat ramah. Suasana alam sangat indah, tenang, terdebgar suara gemericik air, suara kodok, suara jangkrik beautifull teduh sekali. Kendala nya saat kami hendak webinar malam hari dari room, wifinya tidak stabil tidak dapat diakses dari kamar, petugasnya sigap membantu kami dan diarankan untuk mengadakan webinar online di lobi reception dengan wifi kualitas bagus dan sdh disiapkan ruangan bagi kami bekerja, Terima kasih, bagus sekali pelayanan nya. Dan satu hal, Villa ini menurunkan harga dari Rp. 1.2 jt/mlm untuk ruangan standar menjadi Rp. 400.000 di masa pandemi agar menarik wisatawan lokal untuk berkunjung, villa itu sudah langganan menjadi tujuan tempat wisata bagi turis2 Eropa & India karena tempatnya sangat indah

Pegawai ramah, cukup bersih, cuma tidak ada TV.
Untuk yang mau honeymoon atau cari tempat yang jauh dari keramaian saya rasa cocok.

Berlokasi di daerah Sukawati, hanya sekitar 10 menit dari pasar Sukawati. Saat datang ke Santi Mandala, suasana sangat sepi, mungkin masih imbas dari pandemi. Kondisi kamar yang kami ambil sangat luas, terdiri dari 2 king bed size. Dengan teras menghadap ke kolam dan taman. Kamar mandi setengah terbuka dengan bathtub, sangat cocok untuk relaksasi.
Permasalahanan hanya pada banyaknya nyamuk saat malam, kemudian lokasi kamar yang sangat jauh dari tempat parkir kendaraan, dan menu sarapan yang hanya 1 jenis memilih antara nasi goreng atau mi goreng saja.
Tersedia kolam renang untuk umum, bisa untuk bermain anak2.

Tempat menginap dengan wisata alam yg alami.tetapi tdk ada tv di kamarnya.u/ pencahayaan sangat kurang, sehingga jln menuju kamar agak gelap.

A unique place with part of the river flowing underneath. Gorgeous outdoor bathroom with a huge stone bath. Great breakfast and beautiful pool. There is also a waterfall on the property and magnificent plants. To get to your rooms you walk over a bridge with the river below. I can't wait to go back.

Nature villa and quiet place since pandemic, not much people sleep in here and maybe they reduce the staffs to clean, so it a bit dusty, but the floor very clean. Hope after pandemic and everything run well, they can improve this place.
