Sababay Winery

We went to the winery without a clue what to expect. Taking the tour package, we got an in depth explanation about the winery's history, production process, and also the types of products they offer. The tour was closed with wine tasting in their beautiful little garden. The atmosphere was nice, the place was awesome, the food was surprisingly good (never knew fried cassava goes well with dabu-dabu and white wine). Thank you to Mba Dela for the awesome tour!

One of the most amazing experience to enjoy winery behind the scene then follow with tasting the products itself. It's very entertaining as well since the guide explain the wine process and sample very well and great service that I got in here! It's nice to be back one day to here:)

Had a superb experience! Walked in with little to no knowledge of wine nor any alcoholic beverages whatsoever and walked out with this new stories and education I can brag to my friends about.

I came here as a solo traveler. Definitely gonna take my parents and siblings next time I visit again!

Love the tour. The staff is really informative and helpful answering questions. Love the wine tasting. I am a fan of Ludisia and Moscato myself. Love it that we have this kind of business running locally in Bali. Way to go to promote local business!

Havin tour and taste at Sababay ubud. Have so much fun here. And mba Lady as our tour guide - very fun friendly and knowledgeable during whole tour. Her demeanor, intonation and story telling skill very entertaining and enjoyable.

A unique experience in Bali! It's a rare experience to learn about wine making, especially in tropical island. We get to enjoy their wines & liquors as well. Local wine with international recognition and awards! A-must-have-visit when you're in Bali️

Had a great experience here. They have 3 tour package you can choose, the basic one include wine tasting for 3 kind of their wine paired with fried casava and dabu-dabu chilli (which is unexpectedly VERY GOOD), the other two offer tasting 4 kind of their wine paired with chocolate or cheese (twice the price of the basic one)
The place is great, not too hot nor too cold, about half an hour from Denpasar (by car or motorcycle)
The guide, Ms. Lady was so nice. She explained the history of the company and how the founder have the mission to empower local grape farmer, and also gave a good explanation of the wine served to me.

Salah satu alternatif liburan di Bali! Seru banget dan menyenangkan bisa tahu kalau negara tropis juga bisa bikin wine. Sejujurnya random banget ke sini, tapi semenyenangkan itu ternyata.

Dapet tur ke pabrik ngeliat gimana cara pembuatannya ditambah berkesempatan testing 3 wine. Lovee! Ada pilihan turnya juga kok. Cek di traveloka aja.

Looking for something different on my girls only trip to Bali. We had an amazing time with Gege and Devi the tour guides, they prepared a very chic set up and nice background music. Fall in love with their sweet wine series, catching up with the girls while drank lots of wine and spill lots of tea! Prepare your nice sundress ladies, you won’t be disappointed with your photos result.

I have been to many winery in other part of the world. This is my first time in Asia, in my beloved country <3 I must say I was impressed. So proud! The tour lady, mbak Lady, she’s fun and explained all about Sababay from the history to the wine making process in a very well manner and she’s also very well knowledged about their products. They served the tasting table in a very cute way, with the pairing local light bites as well. Taste wise, great. They produced fine wines. Very good job for a winery located in a tropical island.

Enterprising local products. Wines best tasted with local food. And the cassava + sambal dabu2 is the bomb!

So cooool! The only winery open for public in Bali. The visit is super interesting, you can discover the story of the company and the wine making process in tropical conditions. And the best part is the wine tasting of 3 different wines! I didn’t know Bali had local wines before and they are surprisingly DELICIOUS. My favorite are the whites. And the staff is super nice and cheerful. Great job.

I had Sababay Moscato. It was a gift from a best friend, send from Indonesia to California.
Normally, I don’t drink sweet wine, but the Moscato from Sababay is exceptional. Well-done! ️️️ So proud of Indonesian Local made.
The note of Moscato is perfect, composition is balanced, subtle sweetness with beautiful fume, but also leaves impression of crisp & soft dryness, and slight bitterness that made the drinker wants some more.
Oh.there are plus-plus. I like the note on the label, to inform what best food pairing with the wine. Moreover, the top sealer.it is a champ, for those who drink little, to preserve sparkling wine. Brilliant!
Definitely, this winery is in my bucket list to visit, when I go to Indonesia.
