My stay there was perfect- big beds clean shower nice rooms great smoothiebowls and even late checkin!

Pro: large beds with private curtains. Great electronic locker with ample storage. The swimming pool area is small, but it works as a tranquil communal area.

Cons: The in house cafe is a little expensive considering one can walk out of the hostel and purchase food/drink from local vendors at a fraction of the price. In my opinion, it felt more like a transient hostel- a place travellers use for quick access to the airport and therefore the social environment was slightly lacking. However, I’m sure this hostel is not designed to be a party hostel anyway, so this is not necessarily a negative if that’s what you are after.

Amazing hostel, by far the the best I have ever been too! Clean washrooms, large & comfy bunk bed & amazing common area with free selection of coffee & snacks along with awesome pool & many books for those bookworms.

A rather upper class hostel with very friendly staff and mostly polite guests. Prices for accommodation are reasonable, breakfast isn't exactly cheap but the quality is certainly western standard.

The reasons I love to stay in Hostels is very simple. When traveling solo the first thing that a hostel provides is usually great company. People who are really fun company who turn into friends that you explore and have dinner with. Sometimes they even lead to long term friendships. But most of all you get great travel tips on destination and all where to go next. Not every hostel is great. But if you read the online reviews on apps like Hostel World and Agoda, it’s very hard to go wrong when you see a place like this. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hostels around the world. I arrived exhausted. I can’t describe how perfect my stay here was in words alone. They even offer private rooms if you need to get away from the crowd or have a girl with you. A good hostel also has a low cost laundry solution. They have you covered. A place like this hostel has air conditioned rooms and comes with an extremely comfy bed, blanket, extra sheet. They also provide a bath towel and bottle of water. I stayed in a large dorm. But it felt as though I was alone because each bed has a huge full privacy curtain. The beds are made sturdy. They are big and the ladder is at an angle (meaning you won’t fall when you have to use the bathroom in the milddle of the night) On my stay the rooms were quiet early and with my usual earplugs in I must have received the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hostel. The AC isn’t overbearing because your bed curtain blocks the direct cold air and it simply keeps the room at a very perfect temperature. The hot water showers are amazing. Seriously. I had a really great hot shower and they are very particular to continuously make sure the rooms and bathrooms are spotless at all times. The water pressure is full. They have huge lockers to lock up all your bags. They have hangers in your bunk along with your own plug and light so you can keep from disturbing others. There’s a nice pool. They have a free pot of real coffee for you when ever you need it. The big breakfast tastes amazing. They have a community computer and great WiFi. What else can I say. This IS the place to stay! A+

LOKAL BALI HOSTEL is an eclectic and warmhearted hostel located in the heart of Kuta. A rustic style like no other hostel in Kuta, LOKAL BALI HOSTEL doesn’t only capture a warm and comfortable feeling but also provides a hearty welcome and safety that meet all tourists’ expectations. Staff are-very helpful. The food in the hostels cafe is amazing and well priced, probably the best food around the area. The beds are super comfy and room really clean. Nice chilled vibe.

The perfect hostel. Definitely stay here when you arrive in Bali or are about to fly out again.

Super helpful and friendly staff! I was actually not staying at this hostel but popped in to see if they could potentially point me in the right direction of a travel agency as I was really struggling to book a flight for the following day (my own hotel and the nearby tour agency hadn’t been very helpful!). One of the ladies in reception (I think her name was Yutir?) very kindly sorted my flight for me through her contacts at a travel agency so I didn’t even need to go anywhere else. I wasn’t even staying at the hostel so I thought this was very helpful of them! From what I could see the hostel facilities looked really nice and I would definitely consider staying there again if I am in Denpasar. Thank you again!

Super Clean hostel! Very nice staffs and comfy big bed and big locker with the electric lock.
Nice hot shower. Bed has socket and if you stay here for Saturday then they will offer you free buffet dinner.

I walked to the airport from this hostel and it only took like 15 minutes.

Highly recommended!

Only stayed here for one night because of my domestic flight for Flores but I wanted to stay longer as I also met very nice people from this hostel.

Will be back here again if I’ll stay in Kuta.
