Great hostel for a quick stop after a late flight into Bali. Very modern and clean. Staff are very helpful and keen to assist with any questions. Pool is great to cool down and the cafe is cheap and cheerful. Great coffee.

Always a pleasure staying here. Super clean with great food from their Cafe. Unfortunately it's closed each Sunday.

It's very friendly and tidy, and it's nice to have two bathrooms in the dormitory room.

It's a 10-minute walk from the airport, and it's great for arriving late at night or using it before departure.

I stay in the local bali for the second time after 2017. Service is brilliant, the ladies always help you by problems. Beds are also good! Just the bathrooms need a makeover, lot of mold and unpleasant smell because the doors are wet. We will come back in the next holiday!

Very close to the airport, the first choice for arriving at the airport late at night.
The room is very clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the number of toilets and bathrooms in the dormitory is also very sufficient.
The staff are very friendly. They helped me rent a locomotive, book a boat ticket, and even meet up near the hotel by chance. They also helped me buy local breakfast. It is a very good environment.
I recommend everyone to come.

I am here now for the second time and the only thing I can say is: guys, you are amazing! This is how a hostel should be like! Super clean, welcoming, comfortable, love and kindness all around and honestly the best team I ever met! The crew even remembered me from the last time I came, which is over a year ago! Perfectly located for a good start in Bali.
The staff is very friendly and we could always find someone, if we had a question.
Beds are comfortable, it’s pretty quiet at night and there’s even a pool directly behind the house.
What makes this Hostel perfect is the fact that you can reach it by foot from the airport.

Delicious piece of heaven in the middle of the hustle and bustle! I had booked 1 night here due to a late arrival from the airport, but immediately booked 1 night the next day. The service (even at 2 am when you come from the airport exhausted) is really great here. The staff knows you by name and is very friendly. It is busy and chaotic in the streets, but wonderfully quiet in the hostel. Nice swimming pool and you really have to try the dishes in the cafe. Delicious!

I will definitely come back here the night before I fly back, to get on the plane rested.

The massages also seem to be recommended, but I have not tried.

My friends and I had a very pleasant stay at Lokal for almost a week. The staff were incredibly helpful there. The beds were big and the lockers provided were spacious. The location had good amenities nearby including convenience stores, cafes and small warungs. Would recommend if you’re looking to stay in kuta!

Ps: there’s a fantastic chicken noodle soup slightly across the street (called Mie Ayam Bakso Solo "Remaja”), you wont regret it!

Very good Hostel, our group of 4 shared one of the bunk bed rooms. This room was very comfortable and clean. Best bunk beds I have ever slept on which was nice. Staff were helpful, the pool was refreshing and there is a café attached that did a good coffee and breakfast but only opened at 10am

Unless you don't plan to sleep do not stay here. Every night either people are checking in or returning from bars after midnight. Staff does not care how much noise is made in dorms. If someone checks in after midnight staff cares nothing about guests already asleep in rooms when showing them the dorm room. Showering between 1am and 4 am in dorms is common. Staff sleep on couch at night, oblivious to who or when people come in. No rule for being respectful of others sleeping at night. Reported to owner on day 10.4 am again woken up and kept awake. When reported to owner he laughed in my face. 4: 30 am prayers played outside on loud speakers every morning. None guests come and go at night. This is very unsafe for all others staying there. You can not put your own lock on lockers. No respect by owner or night staff. Not a place for none smokers to stay. Mentioned staff smoking beside front door blows into none smoking area. Owner sits there and has a smoke with them afterwards. Guests smoking in none smoking common room in front of staff and they say nothing. Bad guests are ignored. Good guests that complain are treated like they are in the wrong. Lady's working there and 1 older male very nice but does not make up for night staff. Smooth tile floors very slippery with bare feet. Mostly clean except common room bathrooms are dirty, avoid using them. No kitchen for quests, not even to make noodles. Staff shoes left in front of front door is a tripping hazard. No hand soap by any sinks. How clean are peoples hands if only washed in cold water?

Lokal is close to the airport which made flying in late at night easy for us! The staff are so friendly & helpful — they helped us find SIM cards, rent a scooter & recommended great spots for us to go! It was the best hostel I’ve been at! The WiFi isn’t great so just keep that in mind if you’re reliant on it.

This is always my first stop when visiting Bali. I mostly do all preparation like buying a SIM card, withdrawing money, shopping etc before moving to other areas. The staffs are cool and even remembered me from my last stay!

This hostel is the best in Bali. The location is very good, close to the airport and beach. Is good to start or finish your travel in Bali in this place that i recommend at 200%! The owner’s familly is so friendly and very nice and helpful! The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are very clean, good swimming pool and very good breakfast! If you want meet peoples the place is for you! I will be back there the next time in Bali for sure!

Stayed here for 3 days was great decision during my solo trip in Bali! Had a great time with the staffs especially Mba Yati! They’re beyond kind and helpful, wish I could stay there longer. The toilet was super clean and the bed was comfy.

This hostel might be amazing for extrovert, but as an introvert I feel like this hostel is quite calm. This hostel is home for solo travelers where you could share, hear, and make stories here. Would definitely visit here for another solo trip!

Lokal Bali Hostel is and amazing place. For me the best place in Bali. The friendliest and helpful stuff I have ever seen. Very clean and very comfortable. Nice Café and Spa next door. Nothing to complain about. It’s near to the airport therefore perfect for the first or last days in Bali.

Absolutely all you expect from an hostel. Cosy, welcoming, clean, friendly, large confy bed, lights and plugs.

Beds were comfy. Great common area. Front desk was kind and helpful. Safe lockers for your belongings.

As for the location, you can walk from the airport to here in about 20mins. There are foods things and a supermarket down the street.

The people running the hostel were really friendly! They also cook local food free for the guests in the evenings. Its a great place to stay if you need to be near the airport. Chilled vibe so not really a party hostel.
