Best customer service, really great guided tours. Amazing spa facilities, and good food options for special dietary restrictions. Absolutely recommend.

The view, ambience, and service are great. However the villas are outdated and needs renovation. The bed feels old and there’s crooked floor in my villa. Food are so-so. It was not a bad experience, but I wouldn’t go back.

Lovely jungle Retreat. Amazing jungle views, confortable rooms and if you can afford it worth booking the jungle private pool villas. Good breakfast and lovely afternoon tea. Free shuttle service to Ubud. Friendly staff, not great English though.

Top Hotel in Ubud! Anlage sehr gepfegt und im Steilhang integriert! Hatten dort Zimmer mit Infinity Pool und direkten Blick auf die Reisterrassen und dem Ayung River! Personal ist super freundlich (Thank you Sumadi-great Service!) und das Essen und Trinken sehr lecker!

This hotel is in desperate need of renovation & we were 2 stories up & the balcony gave way on our last morning.
We did not get the room we ordered.
The restaurant is unhygienic & dirty.
We come to Bali 3 times a year, the worst accommodation experience ever & the stuff were completely unwilling to accept any responsibility for anything. I also have footage of the broken railing that gave way & they also wouldn’t acknowledge the issues!

Do not eat at the restaurant. Not hygienic. Found hair in my soup. Service is terrible and slow. Horrible end to my L’occitane spa.

We stayed for 4 nights in a Villa as a couple. While the view and the nature is just something I unbelievable magnificent and the stuff very friendly, this hotel is indeed in the need of renovation. This applies to the room, but also to the pool area and gym (I usually would not call this a gym). The breakfast is okay.

We had wonderful relaxing days but would probably choose to stay somewhere else in this condition. When renovated, happy to try it again.

A lovely villas. Excellence services. Bathtroom design is unique. A tasty food in the restaurant, the menu is not only Western cuisine but also Indonesian cuisine, Japan and India cuisine. This place is suitable for honeymoon and family time. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner are from L'Occitane. At the main lobby, there are a small bookshelf. Guest can read novel (from Japanese, Sweden and English) and books. The guest can enjoy the beautiful view in the main lobby.

Excellent place to stay in Ubud. Away from the busy inner city and close enough to go there very quick with the shuttle.
Good place to start some tours to the waterfalls nearby or the Tegalalang rice terraces.

They have stealed my money. And never return it back to me yet. The hotel management said they have transferred it to me. But they are lying

Amazing rooms and service! Although we spent only one night there, it was worth it. The view from the room is lovely. Loved it!

We booked the birds nest for a romantic dinner at 18: 00. The setting is very nice with romantic flowers everywhere in a secluded area. Great view despite being cloudy. The staff is very kind and good. The reason I am giving two stars is that it is very overpriced for what you are getting, primarily in terms of food. The food was lukewarm and not particularly tasty (see my other reviews of Ubud for comparisons). I would not go here again.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views. Magical escape from the craziness of Ubud. Quiet, peaceful, picturesque, classy. Fantastic villas with large stunning bathroom, extremely comfortable beds, stunning views, personal mini-pool or tub. Wonderful breakfast in the beautiful covered restaurant, onsite pool, winding lanes to individual villas, very helpful staff, spa, access to gym and two other restaurants (but on-site restaurant is the best of the three).

This place is super tranquil, a true retreat for people wanting some time to reflect. It boasts lovely small swimming pools on rooftops right in the great of a jungle.

Beautiful villa amazing experience would visit Ubud and kupu kupu again in a heartbeat - few issues but all resolved to best of their abilities. Thank you.

A very nice hotel. We enjoy the tropical vibe a lot. We stayed at the hotel, not the villas. It took maybe 5 minutes to go to the restaurant to have breakfast, but they have boogie car to bring you to the restaurant if you are not in the mood to walk.
One complain was just somehow our toilet kept smelling like cow poop for a few nights. Perhaps it's just not our luck.

A perfect place to spend your time! We will get more closer to the nature even since you woke up. The flower menu also have a great taste! Who knows that we can eat flowers?
