This is my 2nd coming here and after 1.5 years, the quality has definitely not changed! I loved loved loved my time there, i could not recommend this place enough. From start to finish, you feel like a VIP princess. Sarmi was so attentive to detail, always making sure I was comfortable, didn't need anything, if the pressure was ok.
I really love this place, and so happy to pay that amount of money for what I got.

Lovely spa with ambient facilities. I feel the price was higher than the quality of massage service. The drinks were lovely. My hair feels incredible after the hair cream bath.

I came coz I saw so many positive reviews but honestly it's really disappointing. I had 90 mins balines massage. I appreciate the single room, free drink before starting the massage and sweet potato and hot ginger tea after massage. Everything was great except the massage. I've done many massage before and honestly it's one of the worst massage I had ever. From the very beginning from the way she stretches my back I knew it wouldn't be great. I asked for strong massage and focus on my right back and shoulder but she ended up doing more on my limbs more than my back. I felt like she's in a rush to get everything done rather than really taking the time to help with my sore back. They gave me a questionnaire at the end to say my comments and I said the above very honestly. Then the staff were panicking coz I didn't say it's excellent. They asked me to come back and try it a second time but I didn't hv time. At the end they gave me 20% discount to settle my disappointment while I said I'm happy to pay the full amount as it's still cheap compared to the Australian price. I'd say if you don't care much about the quality of massage, it's the place to go but if u really need a good massage, it's not the place to go. Later on I discovered other local massage shops in the centre only costs about 120k for a really good massage.

Great spa with lovely staff and amazing treatments. You get your money’s worth! I can only recommend this place if you are in Ubud.

Had the pleasure of experiencing a Balinese massage at Jaens Spa Center in Ubud and it was a heavenly escape. The therapist's touch was both skilled and soothing, and the ambiance truly encapsulated the essence of tranquility. Yanti is a jung and positive therapist, with a lot of patience and golden skills. Here, you get relaxation for your body, soul and spirit. It's a memory I'll cherish from our Ubud trip. Can't recommend it enough!

I came here with my husband and we did the Radja Nenda spa package (4 hr treatment). The service and staff here are amazing. All the girls are very kind and very generous with all the welcome drinks and snacks which were delicious. My husband and I really enjoyed the massage and hair treatment. This wasn’t the best facial and body scrub for me personally. My face felt a bit tight despite the fact that I chose the moisturizing facial and my skin also didn’t feel as soft as it has after other body scrub treatments I’ve had in the past. My therapist also didn’t apply the body scrub to the soles of my feet, whereas my husband said his feet were scrubbed. I also think it would be beneficial for the staff to explain the products used in the facial and hair treatment as there isn’t much description online for those and it’s nice for clients to know the benefits of the treatments they’re receiving. Overall this spa is great and is amazing value for what you’re getting!

The massage was good, but the entire experience was ruined by the strong smell of mould in the room. I was upsold the aromatherapy massage and the only aroma I got was the aroma of mould, for the entire 90 mins. I actually felt physically sick in the end.

The smell in the room was a real shame, because everything else around this experience was great. The welcome drink, the foot scrub at the beginning, the massage, the option to shower after and the hot ginger tea and sweet at the end was all perfect. Their products are nice too, so it's worth visiting the shop next door.

Just that mould, it was too intense. Several hours have passed and I can still feel it in my nose.

I mentioned the mould smell at the end of the treatment and I was invited back to have another treatment in a different room with a window. But this would be at the same price and I'm not really sure I'd want to pay their premium price again and risk experiencing the same smell.

It is clear that the owners of this spa spend quite a bit of time and energy training their staff to provide excellent service. From the minute you step inside the courtyard the team is very attentive and work hard to meet your every need. Jaens Spa and the staff definitely deserve a 5-star rating.

Last minute booking ke Jaens Spa Shanti karena sedang berada tidak jauh dr lokasi. Lucky me I got a schedule dan dibantu oleh Bu Sarmi yg superduper helpfull dan pijatannya sesuai dengan request yg diminta. Ketika datang kita akan disambut dengan ice lemon dan towel yang menyegarkan. Kebetulan saya datang dengan anak saya dan diberikan ruangan couple untuk anak saya bisa beristirahat disamping saya selama Treatment, dan semua staf menyapa dan hafal nama anak saya. Disamping spa Jaens ada store dimana kita bisa membeli sabun, sampo, body scrub dan body masknya. Design ruangan yang modern dan bersih jadi ga enggan buat masuk. Harga yang ditawarkan juga reasonable dan jangan lupa ada tax sekitar 17%. Must visit spa di Ubud dan jangan lupa pesan untuk di handle Bu Sarmi ya. Kalau mau lebih murah bisa beli voucher di traveloka tp harus booking H-1.

I had the most relaxing treatment here. The staffs are all very friendly. The massage oil and body wash smells heavenly.

Amazing service. Very polite and friendly and professional. We were able to select on a diagram where we wanted more attention and where we didn't want massaged. We had some delicious tea and sweet potato too. It's very clean and up kept and modern.

Staff is very nice and profesional but the massage rooms are bit disapointing. Also the bath tub is in a dark corner between walls. You really dont feel having a relaxing bath there. They sell it to you as a flower bath but I had only a few flowers in the tub. Way too less to get the experience. Not worth the money I paid: (

I and my partner did a “Romantic couple spa” on our last day in Ubud and they were able to book for us on short notice. We were taken care by “Sarmi” and another lady and I'll give them 10/10 for service, communication skills, customer skills.
Staffs are very friendly and professional. The environment is superb
They do accept the MasterCard payment with 2% charge.

I spent two hours receiving a traditional Balinese massage. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and as soon as I’ve arrived, the receptionist greets me with kindness. I forgot her name, but she was very kind and just somehow can read my mind as to what I currently need!
I was then given cold tea to drink while filling out personal information forms about our preferences for massage pressure, body parts to focus on, and areas to avoid. Ms. Rahayu, my masseur, is a wonderful person motherlike figure. After my feet being washed, we then enter the massage room.
The room has a bathtub and a shower that are attached to it, and it is quite clean. Before beginning the massage, Ms. Rahayu sounded the chakra bells, which are often used in the meditation technique, which was pretty interesting. Once the massage is done, we had more refreshments, this time warm ginger tea and coconut cassava treats. Treatment quite expensive but well worth it. 2 hours passed very quickly. Highly recommended.

Jaens second location in shanti is a only minutes away from the city but feels like it is so peaceful it feels like it is miles away. The space is clean, modern, air conditioned and tranquil.

Every single staff member was caring and attentive but a special mention goes to Fabri who guided me through the Radja Nenda Spa Package. Her massage style immediately connected with my needs and put me into a deep state of relaxation throughout the experience.

Indulgent is the only word for this experience. My partner and I cannot wait to come back when we visit ubud again.
