This place is beautiful. Food was super and their services also awesome. Staff was explained to us with details and presenting their dishes with elegantly. Also feel in love with the interior its mixed between old melaka heritage style but with pop colors (I guess?)
The restaurant gives strong cultural vibes.like many of the restaurants in Bali, it has no aircon and rely on fresh air n breeze in its space.the food was so on point.the octopus was soft in a refreshingly sour curry sauce.the beef rendang was flavorful without being overpowering nor was it the typically sweet kind.the beef was fork tender.the burned scent on the charred romaine was such a delight although I would have spared the dish from that mayo drench.too sweet.the tilapia was fried but so tender n not smelly.fresh!
the chicken satay can pass.creme brulee was the prefect closure.tasty with the right amount of sweet.
An accident happened to us in the restaurant and the host managed it in a way that made us felt we were taken care of by family. I love this place so much and will definitely revisit when I'm back in ubud.
Impeccable service and delicious food!
Tried the softshell crab, lobster dumpling and duck. Loved all of them!
Also tried the ginger lemongrass creme brulee for dessert and it was an interesting twist on the usual ones we had.
Service was great and the staff were really attentive. They also helped with the recommendations for the food.
Very good cocktail expérience with Junk raditya and Bayu.
He give us an amazing advice for drink our best cocktail of our Life.

This place looks more like a coffee lounge that a place to grab dinner but once you inside and the aromas hit you know you are in the right place. Get the Beef Rendang and the Fried Soft Shell Crab, my goodness. 10/10
We loved our dinner here and they had amazing cocktails, but sadly we both got food poisoning/ Bali belly the following morning.
We had a pretty average NYE & 10th anniversary dinner here unfortunately. No recognition of the special occasion. Not sure what all the hype is about. The space is lovely, cocktails were great, but food was very average and expensive. Much better off going to a local Warung and eating better food for a 10th of the price.
Food is well plated and taste great. Casual fine dining. Ambience is great, decor is rusty nature with a modern Balinese country house.
Hujan Locale was our best meal in Ubud, and for less than half the price, trumped even the celebrated foodie places we’d original sought out.
The restaurant looks beautiful inside and out, and is in a great location, just around the corner from Ubud Palace in the centre of town.
Food is a gourmet spin on traditional Indonesian dishes and everything we tried was superb – tuna betel leaf, grilled corn, duck salad and of course the superb beef brisket rendang.
Service was magnificent – staff went over and above to identify and explain gluten-free meals and recommend dishes and there‘s a great list of juices and non-alcoholic crushes.
If you only eat out one night in Ubud, make it Hujan.
Everyone was really kind and welcoming, but I am giving this restaurant a poor rating because we both had horrible food poisoning after coming here. We wanted a nicer fine dining experience to celebrate New Year’s Eve, and we were not expecting to get food poisoning from a more expensive establishment (our meal for 2 people was around 700+ IDR). We sadly had to cancel our New Year’s plans and ended up staying in our hotel room the whole day and night because of the food poisoning.
I ordered the Chicken Martabak and it was pretty good with fragrant curry to match its crispy skin. However my partner ordered the Bebek Goreng and it wasn't to our liking, in our opinion it was too dry. The service was excellent though, the staff were very attentive and ordering was quick and easy. They speak fluent English too! Do note that It is pricey as compared to other restaurants.
One of best place to try fusion Indonesian food. The food was super delicious and rich of flavours and spices

Such a lovely place! Beautiful decor that makes you want to sink into their comfy chair and never move️ Deelish drinks and a special mention to the lovely Ratna for being so kind and considerate. Do not miss this place!
We visited Hujan Locale whilst in Ubud and it's a not to miss restaurant. The service and food were amazing. Highly recommend this place if you are in Ubud.
Made a booking on the phone. No one told me I shouldn’t drive there as there is no parking. Didn’t even get to try the food because when we arrived we were denied parking and given no help by the security at front of restaurant. There is no parking anywhere here. You cannot come to this place with a car.
Sharing portions of elevated south east Asian street food. Clean greens, crisp and full flavor rotis, creamy fragrant rendang. Will come again!
Cool restaurant, on the first floor there is a temple view. Service is great and food is delicious!
The food was outstanding. Each dish has unique flavors and the presentation add to the experience. Dining area had 2 levels with the lowe level had a lounge vibe. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The food came out hot and was well timed. Would highly recommend this restaurant and would strongly encourage you to make a reservation.
Dishes were all perfectly executed. The broth of the tongseng kambing offered so much depth in flavor it was.
