One of my favorite hotels in the world! A mysterious, mystical place.time stands still! A really pretty and magical place in the big forest, with wild monkeys walking right in front of you in the room!
The food is delicious, everything is delicious! Great chef!
Just that we were disappointed with the SPA, compared to 2019 (where they won a prize!). But we told the manager and he offered us cocktails! So nice!
We will definitely return!

We stayed two nights as part of an anniversary trip. Absolutely incredible resort. The jungle is gorgeous. The food and service was incredible. The views are unbeatable. And the activities and spa were amazing. Would highly recommend!

Attentive staff, very warm welcome, romantic atmosphere, the hotel is located in a valley surrounded by breathtaking jungle. The service, the quality of the food, the swimming pool and the SPA were perfect for me, rarely experienced such a complete hotel. (The small funicular gives charm to the hotel)
The infinity pool, I don't have the words to describe this feeling to you.
The employees are happy to work in this setting, you can feel it in their smiles and their kindness during the stay.

We didn’t get to stay here but my partner booked a romantic dinner here to propose. The hotel looks absolutely beautiful, we will definitely stay here next time we come to Bali. Beyond this, the service we received was outstanding and our host made our evening even more special than it already was. He took beautiful photos of us, completely complimentary, and videoed the engagement too! The set up was beautiful and the set menu was some of the best food I have ever eaten. I really must thank you for the amazing service, we can’t wait to be back.

Amazing hotel in the middle of the lush greenery! The villa is spacious and the bed is comfortable. We had a private pool, but we preferred swimming in the public pool, which was stunning!

Nice place but the villa we had during low season wasn't kept very well. The pillows were smelly (sweaty smell) and we asked for them to be replaced by they were not. Not really what I would expect from such pricey accommodations. Food was good and the grounds pretty. Service was alright to good.

Perfect day visit experience, excellent value for the quality of service and facilities. Vegan options were delicious, and drinks were admittedly very overpriced but overall cost seemed reasonable so I didn’t mind.

The hanging gardens of Bali is considered one of the best hotels in the area of Ubud. While the service is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is not worth the 5 stars (or 7 stars as I am reading)! If you are well travelled you will agree with this statement. The hotel is run down, is in need for renovation and not worth the value for money. They are many hidden charges, such as “floating breakfast” at the room is for an extra charge. The breakfast is of mediocre quality, the “daily free yoga” is only available if you pre-book it in advance. The “free shuttle” to Ubud is only available in the morning and early afternoon and for evening transfers you pay an unreal mark up. The beds are not comfortable for 5 stars and the air conditioning is poor. The pools look bigger on social media pictures than in reality. The staff is great and very accommodating and the view is excellent.

We've been there for pool and restaurant visit, dayticket. Very nice place, beautiful surroundings, the outside elevator brings you to the pool. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Restaurant is very good. Nice place for some beutifulll picture at the infinitypool. We 'd liked our short stay. And went on to our next fascillity.discovering Bali!

Beautiful place in the middle of a dream landscape. Our room with the infinity pool and the best view was the best.

My friend and I went for the pool package. Approx 50 AUD each and with that we had access to the infinity pool, towel provided, food up to $100 aud off the menu. We both had steak and drinks. We were given a complimentary drink after we changed and got dressed with complimentary bar snacks. The whole experience was amazing.

I was there on a day pass, I have to say the ambience was lovely, service is excellent and food is great as well. I rate it 4 instead of 5 stars as I had previously purchased the voucher on Chope that was kind of invalid and thus paid once more directly to Hanging Gardens. Till date, I'm still waiting for a refund almost 2 months later from my day pass usage being. Risk being caught in a dispute between Chope and Hanging Gardens if you purchase a voucher with them. Otherwise, everything else was excellent there.

For a long time I wanted to visit Hanging gardens and this october When I traveled to Bali just for 1 day I was able to book georgous breakfast with day pass to the pool. Let me start from breakfast. Amazing coffee, a’la carte menu, fresh coconut water…. I just couldnt wish for more. Buffet was small but its quality was top. Hotel Stuff are on the world service level. I wish to come back and this time actually stay overnight. Definitely recomend if You look for peace outside rush and busy Bali.

The facilities are fantastic. The environment is spotless and it is hard to beat the charming staff for service. One experience left a bad aftertaste though - their insincere hard-sell of a BBQ seafood buffet dinner on Aug 21. Lobster with a one-hour free-flow of wine was promised to our group of 8 who stayed there five days, four nights. On dinner night, there wasn't the range of seafood they had alluded to when they sold us the seafood buffet the night before. The lobster (and this is no exaggeration) were smaller than the available prawns. And before all of us in the group even had a chance to taste the lobster, we were told they had run out. The six of us who had opted for the BBQ paid 1,000,000 rupiahs (100 Singapore dollars) per head for it. Because there was some confusion about the free-flow wine, our first glass only landed on our table at about 7.15pm, and topping up the glass took ages. On top of that, we were told that the free flow of wine was limited to the locally-made Two Islands wine. We chose the sparkling Two Islands wine and that too was not an option in the package, we were told. Even the starters, the salad and the dessert choice were minimal. I am not sure we would have had our dinner at the resort had we known this was the deal. It was not what we had paid that bothered us. Our group had not been on a holiday for a while and travelled prepared to do our bit for Bali as the island had been starved of tourists. It was how disingenuous they were that upset us. Stay at Hanging Gardens of Bali - the place is fantastic but eat outside the resort as we did for the rest of the stay.
