Cocoon Medical Spa

I visited the location and the services seem to meet international standards for hygiene and safety protocols. Front desk over staffed and administratively did not respond in a timely manner. I told the staff I would mostly likely take the first appointment in morning and also texted them the night prior so the message would be received before opening. It was read but no acknowledgment not even “we’re busy and get back to you when we can. “I value my time. “Simply ignored. Island time I guess.

The hygiene protocols are amazing, so clean and I do not feel any risk at all during these Covid times. I cannot recommend Cocoon higher enough. Excellent staff, treatments, professional standards, and machines are top of the range, including the Qanta laser from Italy.

I’ve come here now about five times. The staff are always very polite and friendly and spend time explaining the different options. As I’m always only in Bali for a few days at a time, they make an effort to find a time that works for me. I will keep coming back!

Beautiful place! The doctor was so informative and kind and I really appreciate that. I trusted her with a scalp PRP and she really made me feel safe and comfortable. The assistant staff was super warming and kind to me as well and I really appreciate that. It was quite a painful treatment but their warming and encouraging female energy made me feel good:)

Honestly, I wish I went there sooner. Love it in there.you already feel you are in good hands as soon as you walk in. The nurses were sweet and I'm super impressed with Dr Josie. Besides her obvious value she brings to the table, she is great with people. I have to admit I started crying during half of my treatment as the needles for the PRP were getting a bit much for me personally. She was extremely supportive and humorous and and made everything much better:)

I've never felt so beautiful. I'm 37 and when aging started to set in it took a HUGE toll on my self-image. I noticed I just didn't feel anywhere near as beautiful and radiant as I used to so I starting doing treatments at Cocoon. So far I've done PRP, Botox, and even just after 2 treatments friends are saying I look "noticeably younger. " I think I look about 6-10 years younger. They are absolute pros! Every time we do a procedure they are so professional, Dr. Josie is funny and attentive to detail, and the nurse holds my hand when I get scared of any needles! Ha ha ha, they are literally the best.:)

Scheduled an appointment, got to the location in time for my appointment and the doors were locked. Tried to call and no answer. Sent a text to the WhatsApp and no response. Never received a text back to apologize or explain what happened. Very unprofessional.

Amazing clinic, very professional, empathic team and delightful treatments.
I totally recommend it and would always go back!

Always a Professional and nurturing experience. Doctor Josie is down to earth and gives you a full honest evaluation on all treatments- no pressure sells. Assistant Teete also is well trained nurturing and sweet.

I did the Laser Hair Removal at Cocoon and I am definitely very disappointed about the results. I can't recommend this treatment at Cocoon.

They advertise it with "Clients benefit most from 4-6 sessions between a 4-6 week period, depending hair thickness, treatable area and hair growth cycle. "

I had 6 treatments in total, even with a longer period than 6 weeks between the treatments and still there is about 30-40% of hair left. I consulted one of the "doctors" after the 3rd treatment as there was not big progress after the first sessions. She gave me very unqualified answers and said it might be that my hormones changed (which I doubt in only 3 months). Also, she said once I start with waxing again, the hair will come back.

After my complaint the nurse told me with every treatment, that they can't promise I will be hair free as their procedure is only for hair REDUCTION. But unfortunately they advertise it as hair REMOVAL.

In between my treatments the machine was broken. Maybe this was also one reason why the procedure wasn't working in the beginning. After they got a new machine, the treatment was more painful and the results were better.

Even though I can't recommend the treatment, I have to say that the reception staff and also the nurse is very professional and always friendly. But in the end I go for results and not for the staff.

But for hair removal I would choose another place, with even cheaper prices.

It has a beautiful interior and setup. An option if you want cosmetic treatments in Bali. First check the prices in your home country as it can be the same price (e.g botox) so you may not save anything. Also it has Indonesian doctors and staff so expect this. Overall good.

Great, clean medical spa. This was our second visit and they always look after us. My wife had botox done for a second time much much cheaper than Australia.
Highly recommended.

Already booked for digital detox massage few days in advance, but still waited for 30-40 minutes before the service given. Such "worth it" time to wait for 1 hour massage

My first time getting lip injections. I was so worried I'd look like a duck but my lips look so natural. The swelling was gone in 1 day and the bruising was minimal and only in one area. So professional. I'm amazed.

Let me start by saying the staff are friendly, specifically Crisna and her colleague (guy). That was the good part. The rest of my interaction with Cocoon was woeful. Firstly, they didn't order my juices for the five day detox - even tho I'd paid for them (150AUD). Then the desk manager tried to blame ME for not getting my order because I didn't contact THEM after I'd made the PayPal payment they'd received more than 24 hrs earlier.what the hell? The doctor I saw for the consult had no idea of what procedure I was having but, thankfully, when I told her what Miranda had booked me on for [The Dr] recommended I change the appts that were given to me. I was told that the fat blaster is EXTREMELY painful and it is recommended to do 1 treatment once a week but not with only one days rest in between - as I was given. And I'm so grateful she did. The treatment is muderously painful and (6 days on) I am still badly bruised and painful to touch the treated areas. There is no way I could have withstood a session every other day and it would have been an absolute waste of the $1500AUD! But they would have lead me to think it was ok. I have had four babies naturally, come off my dirt bike numerous times and broken dozens of bones - none of which was as painful as this. Sloppy professionalism and lack of information UP FRONT. I can recommend the herbal body wrap and infra red sauna. It was great!

I was very pleased with my experience. The med spa was beautiful, the staff is professional, and Dr. Angeline’s bedside manner and expertise was among the best doctors I have ever encountered. She wa swarm, friendly, and had my best interest in mind when performing my treatments. Lovely aesthetics, outstanding services and an affordable price made for a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning!

Having facials all around the world, this is probably the most inexperienced place i have been too.they did not know how to do extractions, left me with scars in the first few minutes, left the steam burning on my face too long, and couldn’t speak english
