Very disappointed. I booked a taxi with Gojek app and when the driver arrived he was told that is not allowed to pick up people. They only allow to use their taxis which where asking 3 times more money. What a scam

Be careful when you arrive in Serangan, a real organized taxi mafia is waiting for you, do not hope to challenge them by wanting to order via online applications, their patient air and their number will quickly dissuade you!

Even so, you may witness a lynching of the poor driver who would pick you up via these applications!

As for the crossing, the sea was rough not pushing the captain to slow down on the contrary, but don’t worry, they will give you heart-heartedly, bags to evacuate your lunch, and mint lozenges, considerate isn’t it?

On the other hand, we cannot remove their punctuality during this crossing!

Finally, your luggage will be held for a good half an hour when you arrive in order to push you to consume the products sold directly by the company! Endless!

On the way there everything went as planned, no seasickness, free small bottle of water, free mint candies and even lozenges if needed!
No worries about luggage or anything else, they take care of the transfer from/to the hotel.

My review of our fast boat from Gili Air to Bali is very positive. The service was excellent, with complimentary water on board and anti-seasickness pills available. Everything was on time, except for the luggage delivery, which took an extra 20 minutes. However, there was a comfortable waiting area, so it wasn't a big issue. Overall, a great experience!

Very good and safe transfer. Everything is thought of, travel tablets, peppermints and a transfer to the destination hotel.
The boats are all safe and have extra places on the roof where you can enjoy the ride when the weather is good

This review is for the trip Gili Air to Bali with stops in Lombok and Nusa Penida on the 09/09/23.

The boat did arrive on time and the crew handed over water and mentos to everybody. Their English was not the best, truth to be told, but they were very friendly.

The state of the sea today was not the best and although the captain reduced the speed, the boat continuously went off the water and drastically clashed onto it moments after producing nervous looks among the people and loud metallic noises. Not sure if the crew could have done anything else to mitigate the situation and still comply with the service other than decelerating a bit more considering the waves outside, but it surely was a dire experience for many onboard. My recommendation if you get seasick easily is to sit in the back of the boat, close to the engines. Or just don't go to the Gili islands:)

The seat rows are composed of a pair of three seats separated by the aisle, so take into account that if you wanna seat next to your buddy, you need to board first. Some rows of the seats were leaned back severely reducing the space to just a couple of hand spans. The AC flow was very very low, almost inexistent, so I strongly recommend you check what side of the boat the sun is going to charr. The windows are shared, but it still gets hot.

10/10 - super relaxed, very well organized. Crossing was smooth. Driver was on time. Check in was friendly. Highly Recommended.

The boat was in proper condition and it was also air conditioned which made our trip to Gili T very comfortable. They provided us with a bottle of water, weather conditions were good and my very scared girlfriend could also enjoy the boat ride. It took us roughly 1h 45min

Professional and friendly staff. You can buy tickets in advance and just present the e-ticket to the staff in order to obtain boarding pass. Ride can be a bit rough due to big waves, so do not forget to take a pill if you are sea sick.

Brilliant company who communicate clearly and effectively throughout the process from booking to actually taking the ferry.

Not the cheapest, and I find them a bit of a rip off as they have a total monopoly now but as far as things go they do provide a good service, esp with luggage and transfers etc.

One thing I will say though, there is literally NO leg room at the seats, and I say that by Vietjet standards ;)

Booked with Bluewater express, and the following day were informed that all fastboats were cancelled due to bad weather which is completely out of their control. They provided a number of options and we opted to take the slow ferry back from Gili T to our accomodation in Kuta.

The process overall was lengthy and tiring having to go from Gili T to Bangsal Harbour, then a 2 hour shuttle to Lembar harbour, 5 hour slow ferry from Lembar to Padangbai then a two and a half hour private transfer from padangbai to Kuta.

BlueWater Express made it extremely painless. They organised all aspects of the trip, had a number of their staff accompany us the WHOLE way, even on the slow ferry, provided a lunch box on the ferry and gave us a private car to get to our hotel in Kuta.

Fantastic service!
Easy check in, nice area to sit and wait for the boat, delicious coffee, free motion sickness pills provided before departure, free water bottle and mentos mint upon embarking the boat. Clean and spacious bathroom on the boat.

Everything was timely, well organized, and overall a very efficient, non stressful experience!

Our experience with Blue water was great. I wasn't expecting it to be good as people generally said EkJaya is the best however upon travelling with Blue water my experience was great. The boat was on time, had all the safety measures and the crew was very helpful and friendly as well.

We got best trip with blue water express especially with mr sutha (if im not wrong spell his name) he is a good guy and always willing to help

AC didn't work, had leave the window open, which resulted in sunshine in the boat. A bit off a sauna inside. Seats too small for people above 1.80. Overall not spectacular. Drop off and on well organised.

Chose this company due to reviews. Was disappointed. The boat ride was fine yet nothing different then other fast boat I was on earlier. The hotel drop off service was disastrous. Driver did not drop me off at my hotel. Instead stopped on a major road, then told me to get out and walk the rest of the way to my hotel. He didn't want to deal with turning around as he was in a hurry to drop off the other passengers (there was only two drop off total - me and a couple who were on the same boat). I had to carry all my luggage, cross a busy street while dodging cars and motorbikes, then walk the rest of the war to my hotel. It was getting dark at this time to do was very scary alone with no hands free due to carrying all luggages. I notified Bluewater Express and was told they'll pass on feedback. That was it! Not recommended for solo travellers, especially if you're female (like I am) in a new country. Very unprofessional.

Very disappointed! Staff extremely unhelpful, old boat, no AC, always late. Don’t pay 3 times more for this one. It’s just not worth it.

Very professional with security instruction at the begin of the trip to Gili island. Gives pills against sea sickness.
Managed transportation from/ to our hotel at departure and arrival.
May be a bit more expensive than competitors (i didn’t check though) but worse the price. Hopefully i booked one month prior to our trip in august…

Amazing service. They went above and beyond when my Mum left her passport at the hotel in Legian and helped her get it back. Boat was clean and a smooth ride even when the wind picked up. The staff were lovely. Highly recommend!
