BlackLava Hostel

I have tried many accommodations in Kintamani area. I can say that Black lava hostel is the best for me! Value for money is great.
Comfortable and clean rooms and the boys are really friendly and helpful.
View is amazing from the hot spring pool as well as from the rooms

The hot spring pool saved our trip to Batur. Hostel conveniently located just in the beginning of Batur trail. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Probably best place I’ve stayed in in terms of quality/price.

We stayed at Black Lava Hostel mainly for our hike up to Batur Mountain. Booked the hike to the vulcano with the hostel and had breakfast at the top with the sunrise! Our guide Wirya shooting very beautiful photos just give your smartphone.

This Hostel is amazing! Great Value for less money! The pool is awesome, breakfast, water, coffe, tea and cookies are included and the staff is super friendly. All the facilities are very clean.

Room facilities should be better, we expect there are different towels between bath and pool towel, it was so funny that the staff were saying that the towel still in the laundry, they should have some spare I think.
The view is amazing, we loved it very much.
The warm pool was perfect, room cleanliness was good, the fan should be bigger, linen looks old, television was not working, we could not access an internet from our room, however our room has amazing view and internet is doesn't matter for us.
We have our lunch by the swimming pool, fried rice and fried noodle was good and the French fries very recommended.

I was supposed to stay at this place that is very convenient if you’re planning to trek Mt Batur.
However I couldnt BUT I was amazed at how reactive and helpful the team was. Would definitely book there when going to mt batur

Tempatnya nyaman dan tenang.
Tumben saya seorang sopir dapat pelayana istimewa walaupun kariawannya kebanyakan cowok tapi servisnya kayak hotel bintang lima.

Pengalaman pertama glamping disini dan ngangeni. View bagus. Hanya saja kl malam agak bau krn berbatasan dgn tanah orang lain yg tidak terawat. Tp suatu saat pasti balik lagi kl dikasi special price.

Tempat yg romantis, dengan penginapan di tenda ditengah kebun, Menghadap gunung, udaranya kalo malam dingin, tempat nya bersih dengan kasur spring di dalam tenda yg luas, dilengkapi lampu tidur dan colokan untuk charge hp, ada wifi tapi tidak nyampek ke tenda, untuk toilet nya agak jauh, susah kalo malam, air nya tidak ada.cocok untuk mereka mau menyepi dan Mencari suasana hening. Recommend

One of the best hostels in Indonesia! Staff are friendly, very informative and you just can beat that view! Perfect place to start your Mt Batur trek, while finishing off with a swim in the Hostels hot spring. Great stay.
