Good meat restaurant in Ubud area. I was a bit pessimistic at first when the restaurant offered cheaper local flapjack rather than a fancy australian sirloin, but then I quickly appreciated the selection. The staff is knowledgeable and they know their meat.

The best steak in Ubud, along with the best octopus started on truffle mashed potato. Best service on Bali.

If you are closed and look at me with surprised look that I thought it’s open (as many Ubud restaurants are), put online that it is closed and don’t waste people’s time.

Best grilled meat we’ve tried since 2004 when we left Argentina.
Owner knows his “arena” more than well and managed to recreate with Batubara a beautifil dining experience by delivering great quality food with a variety of options to please different tastes, a nostalgic atmosphere, very well trained & professional staff, clean installations.
Location is excellent within the emergeging corridor of restaurants in Ubud.

Very nice little steakhouse gaucho style or as close as you can get in Ubud, Bali! Solid service from the staff and a really great meal all around.value for money and a few good bottles of red on the wine list to accompany the different cuts of meat!
Just one small minus, was to hot. Will be nice if there was a fan or two to love the air although the smell of bbq is part of the charm.

Wow.not only the best meat I’ve ever had.but I brought vegetarian friends who highly enjoyed the best mashed potatoes, provolone and home baked bread, grilled vegetables and a super gazpacho. Top!

An Argentinian in Ubud! Perfectly melted with the local culture. The quality of food, drinks, service is 10 stars while prices are more then affordable. I had original wagyu rib eye from Japan but you can find any cut from local to imported. The stuff is a lovely team but really Pablo and Chavi make it feels like home. A MUST try if you are after the best meat on the island and the sangria is delicious!

Heard good things before coming and had high expectations. Service was sub par as they pressured you to quickly order wines and starters assuming that's their highest profit margin. Liked the steak display and ordering method as it was nice to see what you were getting. However, when we got our flank steak and bacon wrapped steak the flavors and textures were just mediocre. The ambiance was also way too dark for you to see anything clearly or take photos.

We really enjoyed our time here, from the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. The Wagyu dishes were delicious, and the sangria reminded us of our favourite Spanish Restaurant in Port Macquarie.

For Bali it is one of the more expenive restaurants but worth every bit of it! The food was great and the service is very friendly. I highly recommend this Restaurant if you are looking for a good steak!

By far the best meat in town! This restaurant is amazing, I loved it! I can only recommend the wagyu!
I didn't like the crème brûlée for desert but I leave 5* because you don't go there for desert!
