Babi Guling Gung Cung ulasan
26Pretty expensive and as I read online, they apparently have a Foreigners pricing. Not bad but not that good. Price is IDR50k for biasa (normal) babi guling rice and IDR60k for special with soup. Portion was rather small.
60k isn’t cheap for Babi guling but it’s cheap compared to the many boring upmarket restaurants around ubud and Gung Cung is so much better! Nice upstairs sitting spot, kind staff, excellent and authentic food. Full of flavour and spice. This place is consistently our favourite place to eat in ubud:)
Rasa Mantap. Cuma agak mahal yah. Makan berdua, minum teh botol & coke + kerupuk jadi 98rb.
Nothing special and with tourist prices. 60k for a Babi guling seems excessive. Nice staff and long q of locals out front who prob get it for half the price which is fair enough. Pork was kinda tough but stuffing was delicious.
I usually try to experience the local dish at local restaurant as they not only offer authentic local food, but it comes at cheaper price as well. However upon entering the premises, i found the flies flying around on the meat. Thus, without hesitation, i turn back and go to near by Warung Babi Guling Ibu Oka 3, which is just 5 min away.
I glad i went there as its cater for more international tourists' stomuch
Had the Babi guling and it disappeared from my plate within 2 minutes. Pork skin could've been crispier but everything else was delicious. Bit pricey but worth ìt.
