The food is cooked to perfection we went there 3 times and everything we ate was so tasty!

Today's cafe moved to a new location. Not far away. Just across the street and 20m downhill.
Western and local food. One of the top 3 restaurants in Tuktuk.

Best place, all the dishes we ate there were excellent and the owners were perfect. This is the place where I ate the best vegetarian burger of my life, huge! As for the local dishes, a real delight, every time. THANKS!

The meals are fantastic and the owner - a local lady - cooks by herself. She has an excellent and wide range of about 100 - 120 meals, international, indonesian and a lot of vegetarian meals. Reasonable prices and good portions.

Friendly service. Good meal. Everything freshly prepared, but a long wait. A little too spicy for us. Highly recommended.

We come here every morning for breakfast and we did just today our cooking class, the food is amazing and we highly recommend it!

Was recommendedthis place by the guy from England who lives next door to citra supermarket.
Ordered a mixed salad which was fabulous and a good portion too. Then had chicken coconut curry and rice which was delicious.
Would definitely recommend this place. Great selection of dishes, great value, lovel clean place.
And the staff?
I'd injured my knee, it had started to rain so the owner insisted on dropping me off on her scooter.
You can't get better than that!

Pilihan makanan bervariasi dan porsi terbilang cukup besar. Secara umum makanan enak dan waktu pelayanan cukup baik karena kita group 6 orang dengan banyak pesanan tapi tidak terasa menunggu terlalu lama.

Food are tasty and fresh. It took some time to prepare our food but it's okay and I think it's huge portion, price is fair and friendly staff.

Overall, the food was good but the menu is too big for only 1 cook to handle the kitchen when large groups arrive. By the time the last person had received their meal, most of the group had already finished eating. It's great that the only waitress was able to assist the cook, but this meant she wasn't taking care of the guests.

Es ist schon eine Weile her, dass ich das Today's Cafe besucht habe. Heute hatte ich spontan Lust, hier essen zu gehen. Es hat geschmeckt und das Lokal ist gemütlich.

Food and drinks (lassi & milkshake) were prepared completely fresh, so it took some time. But made with love =)
We tried the Gado Gado which is tasty & a really big portion. Also the fresh fruit yoghurt - it comes with avocado in it (for my taste a little bit surprising).

Today's Cafe never disappoints.

It's run by three cheerful girls who are also great cooks. I have been coming here when I visit Lake Toba for the last 4 or 5 years and am yet to have a bad meal.

They do a mix of Indonesian, Batak and Western style dishes. It's all good but I highly recommend the rendang.

Very average spot. Nothing special here - thought the rendang had too much coconut flavour compared to other places. Don't be fooled - the "taco" is actually a giant fried puff with filling inside.

Fantastic cafe. Lovely people and great food. One of the very few places that actually had people eating in it!

We tried gado-gado and an avocado salad. There was like a whole garlic (not a garlic toe.the whole thing) in each:) but still tasty.
