Roy's Pub Live Music

We went to Roy's for a couple of nights, and the experiences were quite different. It's a place with a lively atmosphere and live music.

The band that played the first night performed Indonesian music and rock classics. It was great - good atmosphere, good music, and good drinks. The prices were very reasonable, and we loved it.

We returned the next night (Saturday), and there were many more people. The band started playing, but at one point, a drunken person started harassing the staff at the bar, throwing things on the floor. I'm used to the fact that when these things happen, someone more or less politely removes the troublemaker, and the night continues. But it didn't happen here. The musicians stopped playing, the drunk person kept shouting, and people started leaving. When the drunk person decided he had enough and left, there were hardly any people left, and the band didn't play anymore.

In any case, if you want to have a drink and listen to live music, it seems like a suitable place.

Google says Open. We walk 30 minutes for a 5pm drink and find a dark cavern littered with last nights New Years Eve party debris. Must off been quite a party …! But will not be returning due to as mentioned.

Waktu nya kurang lama cm ampe jam 12 doank, bikin kentang dan kurang DJ nya, sound nya kurang gede, soalnya org ngobrol msh kedengeran.

Very cool atmosphere - Fridays and Saturdays! Super great owners, fun, good drinks and they have small beers too:)

A good place to enjoy the night life in Samosir island. You can buy beers and cocktails over here. In the weekend night, they have live music with the local song! Very charming and cool to see! I personally love my time over there. Very recommended place and must visit when you are in Samosir.

The atmosphere is great for you and friends to sit and enjoying the music! Not only for tourists, many locals also come to sit and chill!

What a great place. We dropped in (Aussies) to the front bar during monsoon rain and had one of the best nights.
. We were the only ones there.emptied our wallets as the music was tight, the beer was flowing and the vibe and staff were amazing.where else can you get the bartender singing.a must see and experience if your in the area.

Cukup nyaman dan santai dengan suasananya, nuansa kayu untuk meja kursinya sangat bagus, banyak menyajikan minuman beralkohol, ramai dikunjungi turis lokal dan mancanegara serta masyarakat setempat, ada live music juga oleh musisi lokal yg trampil memainkan musik lokal dan mancanegara, cocok buat anak muda,

Roys pub is legendary at Toba. The music is great the beer cold and the people awesomely friendly. If you are there on a Saturday night don't miss it.
