Romlan Guesthouse

Room is nice big and clean room. Toilet is small and pressure in the shower is very little. Bed is comfortable but makes noise if you move. Beautiful location near the lake. You can actually come to the hotel directly by the boat.

Customer service is not friendly at all, no body care if you are there or not.

Hotel yg indah dengan harga yg murah, sudah 2x nginep dsni. Hanya satu kurangnya, tidak ada tempat parkir mobil. Jd parkir nebeng di lahan hotel lain dan harus bayar lg. Tp over all kami sangat puas. Oiya, nasi goreng sarapanya enak bgt, mungkin krna view yg indah juga

This place is so great, Toba lake is good destination to rest and chill, nice but nothing amazing, however Romlan made this place extremely great, the place is so chill, with a great location close to the lake. The terrace, the food made, peoples meet there are true travellers. Everyone is sharing experiences and good laugh.
Do not hesitate, go and enjoy, the only problem, it's often full, book in advance!

Service okay, beautiful view and that's it, location far from the center, rooms clean but it should be better for this price, food quite expensive, no breakfast included in the price makes your night price much higher, be careful when ordering a taxi at the reception. Share taxi 4 hours.it changes a few more hours and you get on the bus from the car and that day turns into a nightmare!
I wrote a message to them they ignored me. A lot of noise on the morning! Congratulations i wish you good luck.

Clean room
The boat drops off and picks up at the pontoon.
The guesthouse is a little further away from all the other restaurants and shops, quiet.
Only the noise of jet skis and boats with music disturbs this calm but it is not their fault.
Quite good restaurant. For the massages we were disappointed by the lady who worked in the hotel. To choose, ask the gentleman if it is possible

Great place, I loved it, it makes the trip in Toba Lake way better than it should have been. The view and the place are beautiful. Food is great, rooms are nice and clean, and you can meet really cool people from every where. I highly recommend this place.

Great location, very clean and well appointed Batak room and house. Negative point on the service not very helpful and on the noise of the boats passing too close to the rooms in the morning and evening.

Lovely, albeit a bit too lively hotel, thanks to surrounding hotels that focus on local guests who think that without loud music there is no vacay…music sometimes until 2am (concert like loud) and starting again at 6.30am. I am writing this but still give them five stars as it’s not their fault and the place is good value, especially the restaurant! First time on my trip I actually ordered western food as it was the healthy type at great prices. They also rent scooters. The rooms vary and I preferred my little queen room over the lake view I moved to later on because of the noise. The queen offered more privacy, had better shower, was sunnier, and seemed to be renovated more recently than the more expensive rooms with lake view. And mine actually had a great lake view anyways! Although not all of them do.

Terbaik, balkonnya sangat cocok untuk sembunyi dari keramaian dengan pemandangan Toba. Kebersihan sangat baik ditunjang dengan koleksi tanaman-tanaman cantik.

The owner needs to pay attention to the road leading to this place because there are potholes and dark at night.

Pleasant place to stay while in Tuk Tuk & situated by the lake Toba. You can swim, canoeing (they provide it for free) & enjoying your stay while in lake Toba. We originally plan to stay maybe around 1-3 nights but ends up staying for 10 nights instead. They have restaurant that serves really good homemade foods, yoghurt, granola, smoothies, etc. Owner Uchie & Richard are friendly same goes with the staff there. Overall we enjoy our stay in Romlan. Will come back again when we're passing by lake Toba in the future. Until next time & thank you for your hospitality. Missing your cakes, dessert & homemade bread already!

Tips: the guesthouse provide hot water but it takes 1-2 mnt to get its temperature. Let the water run in the bucket they provide until it turns hot enough for your shower.

The room rate is cheap. The mattress and pillows are a little hard, can't expect more with that rates. The shower is warm, but in another room my sister said the water is quite hot. The food at the restaurant is delicious, you can see the price from the menu list listed below I attached. The restaurant waiter was friendly, but the manager was a little indifferent, when I asked for hot water I didn't get it at all!

We had a great stay here and stayed longer than we planned. The owners were very helpful, we could rent scooters without problems. They have real coffee, a good breakfast and even freshly baked bread on request. Would definitely stay here again!

Saya disambut sangat ramah dan diperbolehkan membawa sepeda ke kamar.
Pembayaran juga mudah bisa dengan qris.

Untuk kamar bersih, terawa, ruangan cukup luas, dan terawat.
Bagi yang ingin bersantai sangat di rekomendasikan menginap di sini.

Kali ini dari breakfast, lunch hingga dinner makan di Romlan. Sungguh lezat!
Recommend: grilled cheese sandwich, fish & chips, fruit salad, ikan nila goreng sambal tombur, dll.

Pelayananannya buruk ya shay, saya kesini padahal bayar bukan gratis. Kenapa ke turis lokal sangat beda pelayanannya. Kan sm sm bayar, harganya juga sama.
Saya seakan diabaikan disini, saya bertanya di meja resepsionis seperti dicuekin. Saya tau kalian sibuk tapi saya pikir itu terlalu rude ya nyuekin tamu, ga ada senyum2nya parah.
Saya ga akan kesini lagi, untuk kamar standard banget harganya 220 ribu, tidak ada handuk dan air minum. Untuk org lokal mikir2 dulu deh buat kesini, kasian kaya saya ntar.
Sorry kasih bintang 1, semoga kedepan lebih baik. Apalagi yg cowok tinggi, mukanya jutek banget, saya kurang tau dia lagi datang bulan kali ya. Asli kesal saya

The guesthouse very cheap with a beautifull view. And for muslim better if not buy meal in the hotel, just in case.
In the morning we can saw sunrise and many water sport in there

The room is simple but it's Nice & Clean. We had a room with an amazing lake view on the second floor which made it awesome. The view of the lake is so calming. The staff was very friendly. And for me as a local tourist, the food here is so delicious especially the fried rice + fried chicken. I'm having so much fun here.
