Jungle Inn and Restaurant

Had an amazing time at the Jungle Inn! Balu and Henry made the jungle trek awesome, Agung took me on a village tour, and all the other staff members were great too.

Jungle Restaurant has a wonderful spot in Buket Lauang. Nestled on the river, the restaurant has a charming outdoor seating area where you can enjoy views of the water.
The food is flavourful, and delicious and the juices and tea are great.
Free reliable WiFi is a major plus for getting work done while enjoying the sights and sounds of the river. The staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in town. Highly recommend

The hotel is nice and away from the mainstream. It offers fantastic and authentic cuisine. The view from the room is breathtaking and if you are very lucky you will see an orangutan in the trees on the other side of the river. We had a lot of fun with the crew who organized everything we wanted. From us, for you - stars️️️️️

JUNGLE INN is without a doubt the place to stay when you are in Bukit Lawang.
The staff is incredible, super attentive to any needs you may have, and very detail-oriented.
We saw several rooms and all of them were super comfortable, without bugs and with incredible views of the jungle.
The food is the best we have tried, even during the jungle trekking it was exquisite. We liked it so much that we took cooking classes on the foods we liked the most.
The time we spent here was short, when we return (which we will), we will definitely stay here again.

The best hotel to discover the jungle! The staff are awesome, from the manager to the guides who do their best to find orangutans and tell you about their habitat and customs.
Our guides were Ridho and Rosit and they were great! They took care of everything, gave us food and drink and showed us around. After a long morning walk learning about orangutans, ants, turtles and a lot more, we went down the river with a kind of inflatable doughnut singing a song they've made up! It was very funny. A fantastic experience.

Jungle Inn is definitely a great place to stay!
At the very end of the village and rooms next to the waterfall and by the river. We really enjoyed also the restaurant and the whole very good atmosphere with live music in the evenings!
The whole staff is fantastic and easy going!

Best place to be when in Bukit Lawang. Amazing location, very nice rooms, really good food, and super friendly team!

My first experience to Bukit Lawang was made so memorable mostly thank to this wonderful hotel. Firstly, you need to park your car in the area provided since the access to the hotel can only be reached by a motorcycle or by walking. It is located at an insane location right by the river. And just across the river you'll be greeted by the lush rainforest which is house to the Orangutan population. Bring your trekking shoes as there's a trail you can explore. You'll find a mini waterfall as you go along the path. This path is the same one you take if you want to go rafting, which is my favourite part of the stay. The staff will build the raft on the spot and you'll get to experience some wild water action on the river. The end point will be right at the hotel again. The food is surprisingly delicious. With the live music they perform during dinner time, the experience just can't get any better. Do be wary of monkeys as they roam pretty freely in and around the hotel. One of them actually entered my uncle's room haha. Do spend another day if you want go deep into the jungle and actually meet the Orangutans and other wildlife. I only spent one night unfortunately. Will definitely come back again because it was just so tranquil and so much fun at the same time staying deep in the jungle.

Could only recommend this place. Exceeded all expectations. Good food, food mood and good rooms! They help arranging airport pickup if needed, a jungle tour is custom made and if you ask for anything they arrange it. We extended our stay twice because we didn’t want to leave. Hope to come here again.

Excellent rooms with all the comfort you need at the border of the jungle:) Food and breakfast is really really great! Staff extremely friendly and jungle trips are best booked here.

We stayed at Jungle inn and did an overnight jungle trek (2 days/1 night). It was absolutely wonderful! We saw orangutans, monkeys, birds, and more. Loved camping by the river overnight and the food. Most importantly, the staff was amazing and very friendly. Taught us about the animals, area and language. Terima kasih banyak Aldi, Roy, Agu, Ipul and many others! Definitely recommend

Lokasinya bagus. Tempatnya bersih dan tertata. Makan banana flitter, pempek, Dan jungle tea. Semuanya harga sekitar 30 K. Enak dan tampilannya menarik. Bisa bayar debit. Dan pegawai ramah.

Sempat berbincang-bincang dengan keponakan pemilik Jungle Inn bahwa tempat ini sudah ada sejak tahun 1987. Tempat ini juga sudah pernah dikunjungi oleh Bapak & Wakil Gubernur Sumatera Utara (Pak H. Edy Rahmayadi & Pak H. Musa Rajekshah). Sudah pastilah tempat ini Best sekali

Biaya tiket masuk ke rekreasi Bukit Lawang Rp. 5000/orang dewasa serta wajib memakai masker. Biaya parkir untuk roda dua Rp. 10.000.

Saran saya, jika mau ke Jungle Inn menggunakan kendaraan sepeda motor saja & sebaiknya parkir di Jungle Inn.
Jangan mau parkir di parkiran pertama kali dapat yg sebelum menuju lokasi selain tidak aman seperti yg saya alami helm saya hilang & harus berjalan kaki lagi kira2 15 menit ke lokasi.

Waktu yg ditempuh kurang lebih 2 jam 30 menit menuju kemari.

Mau menginap disini bisa mesan kamar melalui aplikasi Booking.com sudah pasti terpesan kok kamarnya.

Datang kemari tidak harus menginap sekedar mau ke restorannya saja bisa. Restoran tutup jam 22.00 WIB & untuk harga makanannya sepadan lah dengan rasa makannya yg lezat.

Ada disewakan panggangan untuk yg mau manggang2 ikan oleh pihak Jungle Inn & untuk ikannya bisa juga disediakan.

Mengunakan Maps pas sampai ketempat ini namun jika ingin bertanya ke penduduk sekitar bisa juga. Nanti jika sudah berada di tempat yg banyak parkiran belok ke kanan lalu terus saja dijalan yg tanjakan nanti mentok sampai Jungle Inn. Jungle Inn berada di paling ujung.

Bila membawa mobil kemari alangkah baiknya jangan ada barang2 penting yg tertinggal didalam mobil & bila mau menginap disini bisa meminta kepada pihak Jungle Inn untuk dijemput menggunakan sepeda motor jika tidak mampu berjalan kaki menuju lokasi.

Kesan pertama x yg saya dapat dari tempat ini sambutan keramah tamahan oleh keponakan pemilik Jungle Inn & langsung dengan view alam yg masih begitu asri serta angin yg begitu sejuk yg menjadi penenang pikiran.

Terbaik lah Jungle Inn di Bukit Lawang. Buat yang mau merasakan sensasi tidur di alam tapi tetap nyaman, ya disinilah tempatnya.

Kesini perlu perjuangan, minimal ya 20-30 menit jalan kaki, tapi kalo ga mau cape ya naik ojek aja, paling 10 menit aja udah sampe. Kendaraannya bisa ditinggal di parkiran yang tersedia di jalan masuk. Bayar aja ke petugasnya, kemarin sih bayar 30rb ya, ada sumbangan ke masjid juga lho hehe.

Abis naik ojek dengan jalur setapak yang kecil, nanti sampai di Jungle Inn disambut pemiliknya yang ramah banget, bang Alde. Sambil santai di resto sambil nunggu check in bisa lah ngopi atau ngeteh dulu sekalian ngerasain suasana pinggir sungai yang asri.

Kamar yang saya pilih adalah honeymoon suite, yang posisinya paling atas dan view nya the best! Kamarnya luas banget bisa buat tim sepakbola, tapi diisi cuma 2 orang hehe.

Tapi emang ga salah pilih sih, udah kamarnya luas, viewnya mantap, suasana nya dapet banget lho. Sebelahan sama hutan dan air terjun alami yang bikin pengalaman ga terlupakan lah.

Varian makanan disini juga beragam, tanya aja langsung ke pegawainya. Makan disini sambil menikmati view sungai, hmmmmm.

Selain itu disini menyediakan kegiatan rafting (ban) dan jungle trekking, pastikan aja ke penginapannya.

Oiya, saran saya untuk calon pengunjung, sebaiknya bawa lotion anti nyamuk or serangga, lampu emergency dan payung ya, hehehehe.

Pegawai dan pemiliknya ramah banget, dan yang pasti bikin betah berlama2 disini. Semoga nanti bisa balik lagi nginep disini
