We had an amazing surf trip at Oinan. The house is charming and clean. You can never get enough of the view of the bay and Telescopes from the room. Thanks a lot to the host, Desti, for taking care of us and cooking us the best meals after surf. I recommend this place and I will come back!

Oinan Lodge is situated on a hill overlooking the famous Telescopes surf spot. 3 beautiful bungalows and a house for larger groups. Hot water, good WiFi and airconditioning - a rare combination in these parts. Desti and her team were great - my initial stay of 1 week got extended to 6 weeks. Thank you Desti and team!

Cozy, but there is a lot of house lizard and mosquito. The room is enough for 2 people, breakfast is provided.

Loved my stay here! The family could not be more inviting, friendly, and helpful in navigating a good stay on the island. They went beyond expectations to make me feel comfortable. The bungalow was very nice, with a great view of the island. I did not come here to surf, so this relaxing spot was more my style, but I ended up renting a surfboard not far from there, so I got the best of both worlds. Could not reccomend this place enough. If you are mainly looking for a place to relax, and unwind, this is the perfect place for you.

Oinan was a beautiful Place to stay, looking out over Telescope surf brake. It can be a very relaxing retreat for your self or a crazy adventure if you venture out on the surf. The owner Dsti is warm and welcoming and makes you feel right at home. Also the food was great. A note for surfing, bring your own board as there is very little to none for rent, if you don't have your own maybe try and rent one from Padang before you take the ferry there. I'm a beginner surfer and tried my luck out at telescope during the low season, it's do able if you have the right board for your self. Oinan, great place.

A beautiful lodging. The architecture is stunning. The owner is friendly. The staffs are helpful. The view is amazing. The food is ok, and dining outdoor is wonderful. The running water is not full, and hot water doesn't last that long. Many mosquitoes, but they provide mosquitoes repellent in the room.
