Amazing place, heaven on earth! Best surf guide, good food, friendly management and the incredible view! Favela is the place to be.

You will not only be surrounded by one of the most beautiful places on this planet, but the service Favela provides is truly one of a kind. Beautiful food, amazing hosts including the dogs that are soo cute and the main house is very comfortable.

It was an incredible experience. The service and guest care team are super attentive and friendly, the food is good, the place is very cozy and the landscape is incredible. I already want to go back and I recommend it.

I was honoured to bring The Art of Trim philosophy here in June 2023. The surfers loved it so much they had already pencilled in next years trip before there 2023 one finished!

Had the most amazing stay at Favela, a beautiful home in an idyllic location with super friendly and welcoming staff. Knowledgeable and talented surf guides - Flavio and Tito, that make sure to always get you to the best spots depending on the forecast. Etra and Flavio are such great hosts that make you feel part of the family along with 6 really cute and friendly dogs. Talented local chefs that cook delicious food every meal of the day! Could not recommend this place anymore!

This place is simply magical. Flavio and Etra built an unique corner of paradise where you immediately feel welcomed and at home. You live like a family eating together, chilling and surfing (Flavio and Tito are great surf teachers/guides for any level). La favela is perfectly located next to the beautiful mangrove's lagoon that you can visit with the SUP boards available for guests and just a few minutes by boat from amazing waves

Absolutely amazing! We arrived as guests and left as family! Favela did everything to ensure we had the best time in the beautiful Mentawai’s. We will definitely be returning!:)

We have spent one week with Flavio & Etra and the rest of the Favela family. We truly had the best time! Every meal was freshly cooked and prepared by their chef. Location of the house is just perfect: right at a beautiful white sand private beach. Surf classes were really good! All well organized. Positive vibe at all times.

Loved my stay at Favela! The most beautiful spot. The owners and staff were so lovely and very accomodating, bed was so comfy, food was amazing, also the loved the front deck with the view. Cant wait to go back! Highly recommend

This place is just incredible! Stunning location in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by crystal clear waters, full of coconut trees, close to really good surf spots. The place it’s so welcoming that you feel like home. Flavio, Etra and Terry are very kind and have a lot of knowledge about the area and locals. We highly recommend to stay at Favela if you are a tropical admire kind of person.

Favela Mentawaii is an amazing place! Flavio is a very kind and caring person. If you want to relax in paradise and surf perfect waves, this is the place!

Loved my stay at Flavela Mentawai. The most accommodating staff that make you feel welcome and taken care of. The scenery is incredible with the most beautiful mangrove, swimming beach, surf spots and near by islands to go visit. There is always something to do (even when there’s no surf).

The food was amazing and the beds comfy.had the best sleep in years!

Recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing whilst adventurous holiday.

We had the best time a Favela and the management and staff is so welcoming and helpful making for a memorable stay. The location is also possibly the most beautiful in the mentawais. We hope to head back one day soon!

This is my second visit at Favela Mentawai and all expectations have been exceeded. It is a perfect place to disconnect with a small group (surfers and non-surfers). The staff is very welcoming and tailored the visit to fit our goals. The food is next level!

The best surf resort in Mentawai Islands! Experienced surfers or beginners, that’s the place to go. Best staff around focused mostly on surf and if you or anyone of your family don’t surf, plenty of fun like fishing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, bush walks, etc.highly recommend it thanks guys for the best holidays of my life!
