Amazing sweet guide and porters. Much respect for them to carry all the stuff all the way up. Very friendly people. The food was more then enough and also very good. We felt good taken care of. Also the equipment are clean and good quality.

Amazing trekking experience in the Rinjani! I did 3 days 2 nights! But I should have chosen 4 days 3 nights instead to rest a bit after the summit and be ready for the crater!
We got an amazing breakfast in the office before starting the 1 st day!
The guide, Adi, was lovely, always checking in everyone and conscious about the time! Food was awesome the whole trip

We booked our hike with AEF at rinjani dawn. Communication was smooth and easy. They provided me with a packing list of essential items to bring.

Our package was the 4 days 3 nights premium package including better food, chairs, tables and more comfortable tents. We also had an extra porter to help us carry about 10kg - mostly clothing, tripods and some electronics.

In terms of the hike, our guide AWAN was friendly, informative, helpful, watchful and funny. He is a good communicator in terms of what to expect on the hike, level of difficulty etc and he knows the trail well.
He always had water, soft drinks and biscuits available for us (although we didn’t always consume it). We felt safe when hiking with him leading the way.

Cooking and food > every meal made for us was 5/5. Some highlights:
we were served hearty noodle soup for breakfast. The best nasi goreng and line caught tilapia fish from the lake for lunch. Then banana fritters with chocolate sauce for tea time, gado gado and rice for dinner. Every meal also came with either ginger tea, coffee or regular tea as we wished. Then fruits for dessert which was great.

How the team were able to do it all with little equipment, a tonne of enthusiasm and resourcefulness blows my mind. The camping tables and chairs also added to the overall comfort of the experience.

Sleeping comfort > camping mats provided were thick enough and padded enough for us and sleeping bags were super warm. Your mileage may very depending on your weight and height. I am 5ft9 about 82 kg and the mats were comfortable enough for me.

Hats off to the 3 porters (Daliq, awal, Adi), that accompanied us that always ensured our tent and some snacks and drinks were ready by the time we got to the campsite. When we came down from rinjani, they had snacks ready, when we stopped for lunch in the shade during the hike, they had the mat rolled out for us and we waited just 10 mins before being served a feast.

The dana segara lake was especially wonderful as the guys setup our tent at a more secluded area of the lake away from the other campers within the area. The zero noise and peaceful environment was priceless.

Toilet situation > as pleasant as it could possibly be, the guys had the zippered and covered fabric enclosure with extra toilet paper handy.

Overall a fantastic experience with a friendly, reliable, helpful and caring bunch of guys. No hesitation in recommending them.

The trek with Rinjani Dawn was amazing! Our guide knew the trek very, very well and made everyone feel safe all the time.
The food served during the trek was super good, there was enough food and snacks any time. The tents they provided were clean and well-maintained. The only negative point is, the communication before the trek and for transportation after. Response times are very long, it's better to call them.

We had a wonderful time on Rinjani. Food they made was delicious and more than enough. Good Indonesian experience.

We had an amazing experience with rinjani dawn adventures. Our guide was so sweet, funny and always helpfull. He smiled the entire route and even lend me his hat at the top. The porters were very strong and they made great food. They had so much food, drinks and snacks.

We had a bit of trouble with communication a few days before but everything went smoothly in the end.
Overall very happy we booked this tour with them!

Although it feels a bit uncomfortable to do "nothing" while the porters carry kilos up, pitch your tent and prepare your food, had a fantastic trip of 3 days and 2 nights. Our guide (Juan, if I spell it right) and the porters did everything they could to make it as comfortable as possible. Juan had a very nice, stable pace which made it easy to keep up. They provided us with all the food (all delicious and more than enough) and thought along very well with my gluten allergy. If you want to go up the Rinjani, this is definitely recommended! Wonderful experience that we will never forget.

Highly recommended tour company! You're definitely getting your money's worth - we were treated to hearty meals on our 3D2N trip, had our tents set up for us and they had just about every equipment you might have forgotten to pack.
The guides and porters know these mountains like the back of their hands. Hero our guide was so helpful!

We had an amazing experience with Rinjani Dawn. We didn’t have much trekking experience however, the team really helped us getting to the top and took care off us so well. Really the kindest people and looked after every detail to make your experience perfect. Could not say otherwise.

An amazing experience. From my first contact with Aef you couldn't have wished for a more professional and helpful service. I opted for the 2 day 1 night Rinjani trek. Everything promised was delivered and more. I'm also vegan and this was catered for without any problem. Special mention goes to Hero our guide. Nobody has been better named, as without him I wouldn't have reached the summit. Rinjani Dawn Adventures were the best. Highly recommended.

The tents are very good quality as when it gets windy they can stand it compared to the other tents which have a little window so you don't have to get out to watch sunrise at Mt. Rinjani but I mean for the full experience you anyways want to get out and and see it in full and not just from the tent ;)

The view was absolutely amazing and we were accompanied by sweet and thoughtful guide and porters who took great care of us and I could not be more thankful. Definitely worth being sleep deprived to hike up mt rinjani and enjoy delicious food after some solid workout!

The BEST hike I've ever done in my life! So physically challenging, but mentally it's all in the incredible team you hike with. The mental challenge is easy, you're given delicious food, everything is set out for you. All you have to do is hike, and soak up the amazing views. Hero and the team made us feel so welcome and safe, I loved every minute. You should pick this tour company.

Our hike up Rinjani was awesome with these guys. We had some less than ideal weather but the team looked after us as well as anyone could. Food, drinks & gear were all great. Our guide Lasa was especially awesome, very knowledgeable and patient. Big thanks to the porters for carting three days worth of stuff without complaint!

Very professional and accommodating company. Hero was an amazing guide. Can’t praise him enough. Very safety conscious and was always looking out for the group. Porters Ida, Awal and …. (sorry I can’t remember the 3rd porter’s name) were super. Food was freshly cooked every meal. They went out of their way to ensure we were constantly well fed. We had to ask them to reduce the portions as there was so much food. This was an amazing experience and I fully recommend using this company for your Rinjani hike.

Just finished the 3 day 2 night trek. It was absolutely amazing! Our guide Lassa was really great and him and the porters took really good care of us. Never had this much food in 3 days. Felt like it may be pricier than other operators but we definitely thought it was worth it. Really recommend them!

Absolutely incredible experience - especially thanks to the crew at Rinjani Dawn Adventures. Beautiful and plentiful food, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and a lot of support throughout the trickier parts of the hike. We were able to borrow equipment free of charge, as well. Would love to do this again with Rinjani Dawn!

We had the best time with the Rinjani Dawn Adventures tour staff. We made the explorer pacage and were taken care of by Hero the guide and two porters. The food prepared by the porters was absolutely amazing and Hero was a very good guide. He knew a lot about nature on Lombok and we always felt safe with him. I recommend this tour 10/10. Just finished our 3 day, 2 night trek with our amazing guide Nas, he always had a smile on his face and alongside the porters provided us with huge portions of delicious food (lots of snacks, fresh fruit and local meals). We were picked up from the port and dropped off at our hotel. They provided us with backpacks, warm layers, head torches, all included in the price. Overall an unforgettable experience, would highly recommend trekking with Rinjani Dawn Adventures, tried to think of improvements but couldn’t think of any!
