Mangsit Surf School Lombok

Simply the best experience I could have asked for We have booked snorkeling trip with these guys and can't fault them. From the start to finish the experience was smooth and hassle free. My mum isn't the strongest swimmer and tends to stress a lot, but the guys were very attentive and always made sure everyone was OK.

On our way back from the snorkeling we've experienced slightly rougher waters (at least for us haha) and again the guys just handled the situation like pros! Because that's what they are.

We loved it so much that we've booked another trip and once again it was amazing.

In the last few days, we have joined the Mangsit team on a couple of snorkelling trips to different places, and our experiences with them were absolutely amazing. Guys who joined us on trips were so kind and helpful, and overall, great company. But what stands out for us was the willingness of the owner to help us with private matters that have nothing to do with services provided by their company. At one point, he would go as far as closing a shop and taking us to Mataram for a few hours to help us as our Indonesian is not the best. I can't appreciate enough guys everything you did for us. Thank you so much!

Had an awesome beginner surf lesson here with the boys. Service was excellent and was out for a few hours. Found the waves quite difficult (it was only our third time) but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and caught a few waves. Water shoes were provided as you're surfing over reef. Had our first surf lesson here. Already had contact from the Netherlands, but you can also go there. Good instructions and help, they walk you through all the steps of wave surfing and I came surprisingly far! I am a mother of 4 children and of course my sons fared much better. They adapt the lesson to the level. You can go here as a beginner and also as an advanced surfer.

Absolutely amazing place to learn how to surf for beginners! Great teaching, safety is the main priority and the instructors are super patient and kind! A great place to surf if you are in the Seggiggi area, very close to city centre. We started off as novices and ended the day by being able to catch our own waves! There are different levels too so everyone gets the support and guidance needed! Thank you so much to the team and we will be back again!

Great experience learning to surf in an amazing location. Wan and Ajay both really friendly and helpful. We only had time for a day trip but picked up the basics and were able to stand and ride some small waves. We will come back if we have the opportunity!

I had a private lesson and the coach didnt arrange any warm up before we went to the water. As a result when I fell, I injured my knee terribly and could not enjoy the rest of my holiday. 2 Months after this injury I still have not healed and may have a knee surgery. Please make sure you warm up before going in the water. It shouldnt be under-estimated. Regards

Such a great surf school! These guys won’t only teach you how to surf, they will hang out with you and take you in as one of their own! Had a real amazing time on the island of Lombok thanks to these guys and their love for life.

My only surf xp on this trip but one to remember. Friendly instructor (Honk) had me up in no time.
Was out for as long as i could last and even offered to go back out.
Shared a few hours, laughs and stories with Wan and Honk at their beach shack over the few days. Very humbling. Local banter and culture is easy to absorb if thats your thing. These guys were the icing on my Lombok visit.

What great guys! This is the place to Surf in Lombok. If we were here longer, we’d be back again tomorrow. Thanks for having us!

We had a great day at Mangsit Surf school. The guys were really kind und we had a funny time together. It was our first surf lesson and they gave us the time we needed. It was perfect!

Wan and Ade were excellent instructors and very patient. My partner and I managed to get up on the board within 10 minutes of getting there (first time). Han also made sure we were looked after and recommend to everyone!

Amazing surf school. Instructors very knowledgeable and friendly. They keep everything nice and simple. Went back to the same school many times. My wife was unwell on one of the days and he checked in a few times to make sure she was ok. Can’t wait to come back again:)

We took some surf lessons with Wan whilst in Lombok, it was very well priced and we had aslong as we wanted. Wan was super friendly and helpful. We then did the Gili islands snorkelling trip the next day, which was also great, got to see lots of turtles, fish and the islands, would highly recommend!

During our stay in Lombok, we took surfing lessons and a trip to the gilis for snorkelling with Wan.

Great instruction and tips during the surfing - we were up standing in no time.

Trip to the Gilis was incredible - excellent equipment, sturdy boat and Wan took us to the best spots to see turtles and fish.

Wan’s a really chilled and lovely guy - couldn’t recommend him enough.
