The food is so good that we came back here 4 times! Everything we ate was delicious and had a generous amount!

Very interesting and more varied menu than in other cafes. Good prerequisites for a balanced, healthy and vegan diet. But it’s strange that there is not a single normal dessert without sugar and gluten, it’s a pity.
I saw how the waiter was carrying someone’s order, a lettuce leaf fell out of the dish and he put it back with a dirty hand I didn’t want to eat.
The toilet was in terrible shape, pay attention to this.

Nice café with great crafted espresso (& other drinks), a huge variance of good food and nice staff.

I only came for the coffee. I like to have coffee first thing and I found many of the cafes were not ready when they said they were open and plenty of them have bad coffee.

I walked into this place at 7am when they said they opened, They were. I had a really good coffee and that was it.

I like a piccolo - I know first world issue but this was one of the few places that understood and made a great piccolo. We went every morning from then. Very nice cafe inside and I saw the plates of people eating and the looked great.

Considering the high ratings I had high hopes but left very disappointed. The coffee was ok but far from the best on the island. What let it down was the food. Had the breakfast burrito and it was the worst food I had on the trip. Uncooked vegetables, big bits of uncooked fat and the favours didn’t work. The other food might be better but I won’t be going back.

This is a great cafe to enjoy some air conditioning while waiting for your boat to leave. If you bring a suitcase, the staff will organize it and place it on one side.

This was so good we returned! Really nice food and seating inside, beach-side and upstairs.

Ate here several times while in Gili T for both breakfast and dinner. Good food with add-on options for reasonable prices. Kind and welcoming staff. Would recommend.

I’ve been here 3 times already. The customer service is horrible and they kept getting my order wrong and asking for more time to fix it. After 10 minutes they brought without change

Their falafel are amazing, but the plates are a little small. Nice eco restaurant and they also have vegan desserts!

Kayu Cafe has been one of my Top Five favorites on Gili Trawangan for three years. And recently it got even better with the addition of Helena as Pastry Chef from Sweden. She is making amazing sweets! And Kayu Cafe has started making new additions to their food and drinks menu which I welcome with open arms. Actually some weekly specials would be great. The ambience is great whether you are downstairs, upstairs or on the beach (though the air conditioning downstairs could stand some improvement). And last but not least, the staff are wonderful - in fact probably the best all around staff on Gili Trawangan.

Food is ok. I ordered mee goreng and ask if they really serving mee kuning. Instead they gave me instant noodle fried mee. Luckily the taste is good. Hahaha. Price per serving is around 60,000IDR.

All day breakfast? Yes please! Fantastic food, good wifi WiFi and ac, friendly people. Didn't try the desserts but they looked amazing

I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get quite good coffee in Gilli Trawalgan. I had a small latte (pictured) and my friend had a long black AND a smoothy and they were both quite good. The breakfast granola bowl looked good also.

Awesome place with a very elegant decor and brilliant cuisine. You can enjoy it if you a meat eater. You can enjoy it if you are vegetarian. Very unique and pleasant taste of the food and awesome food design. I could spend there several hours with pleasure. Just enjoying a meal and the relaxed, cozy and stylish atmosphere.

Had iced americano here. It was very good. The food here is good too. They have sorbet which tastes really good. Environment is good which is a plus. Went back to this place for another coffee.

Food and drinks were really good. They had a huge menu but half of it was unavailable. My guess is because of the earth quake closing the island up last month. They finally reopened this week.

The best cafe you can find on this island. Wide variety of foods and beverage options. Love the food quality and presentation. Staffs are awesome too. Shall never miss.
