Herman Trekker-Rinjani Trekking Tour Guide Organizer.

Great tour with Herman Trekking. Herman is a chill guide and the porters are really supporting. The food was good. We did the 3 days / 2 nights trekking. Was hard for not that experienced hikers. But we managed!

My girl friend and i planned a 10d 9n trip to lombok.initially engaged Herman for 4d3n climb on Rinjani.subsequently, Herman offered his tour service for the rest of the days in Lombok. He advised the intinerary as well as offered a few choices of accomodations for us to choose from. We did not have to research too much as Herman is very informative and has good recommendations.

Throughout our climb on Rinjani, Herman and his team of porters ensured that we were safe. He took care of us and accommodated to all our requests.our plan got changed at the last minute but Herman adviced the next course of action and ensure that our safety was prioritised.

After the descent after 4 days on Rinjanj, Herman brought us to Gili Trawangan via a private boat. He arranged a driver for us to go to the beach side where the boat was already waiting. He ensured that we were safe and comfortable. Day 1 at Gili Trawangan, he brought us island hopping and snorkelling at Trawangan, Meno and Air via a private boat and guide. Again, he ensured that we were safe and comfortable and we truly enjoyed ourselves. We requested to spend the rest of the day and the next day exploring Gili Trawangan on our own. He agreed but he still checked up on us every now and then.

The last 3 days was spent at lombok. Herman brought us souvenir shopping and to famous tourists spots such as the Islamic Centre, Traditional Village and waterfalls in lombok. He accomodated to all our requests and drove us around. A lot of the activities that was squeezed in was not part of the initial itinerary but Herman made it work and ensured that we experience the best of lombok.

Overall, Herman is really kind, humble and friendly. He is also very knowledgeable. He is more like our friend than a tour guide. He ensured that we were safe and made sure that we had fun. He even took nice photos for us for memories I truly recommend Herman Trekker if anyone would like to climb Rinjani, or explore Lombok and the Gili Islands. I will come back to the islands one day and will definitely engage Herman again.

I recently booked the 3 day 2 night trip here. We didn’t go to the top because of the bad weather. Our guide told us it was to dangerous, wile some other groups did go to the summit… So me and my group have our doubts about that decision. The rest was very well arranged. We got picked up and dropped off where we wanted. The staff was very friendly. Overal good service. Think we were just unfortunate.
