We had the most incredible day out with Authentic Lombok Tours snorkeling the remote Southern Gilis. We stopped at 5 different stops and saw pristine coral gardens, thousands of fish, a reef shark, turtles, sea horse and so much more. Everywhere we went we were the only boat there and felt like we had the whole ocean to ourselves. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour such an awesome experience. If you’re looking at exploring in Lombok 10/10 recommend.

We had an amazing day out snorkelling with Lombok Authentic Tours. Although Chris was not there, his crew took great care of us. The secret Gilis tour brought us to numerous unspoilt coral reefs where there weren’t anyone around except for ourselves. I’ve never seen such a variety of vibrant coral and sea life. We spotted a sea snake, a turtle, huge triggerfish, schools of trumpetfish, many large clownfish and a seahorse, not to mention the thousands of colourful small fish surrounding us.

They also provide full face snorkel masks which are very helpful for kids who never snorkelled before. Amir and Rizki took charge of our kids, guiding them and bringing them to see so many sights that even our youngest who can’t swim is enthralled and forgot his fear of deep water. Pak Toto who drove us was also very obliging in making stops for us to look for bug balm.

We would love to do this tour again if we are here next time.

A unique experience. We had not planned at all to do this activity in Lombok, since we were already going to the Gili, but it was one of the best things we have done on our trip through Indonesia. The seabed that we have seen is amazing, fish and corals of a thousand colors, sizes and shapes, turtles, starfish. A true marvel. The tour lasts all day and they take care of you like no one else, there is no lack of detail. I recommend it 100%

Snorkeling trip was beyond expectations. Fantastic snorkeling spots, attentive and knowledgeable guides. The day was very personal, the opposite of mass tourism. Food and drinks were perfectly provided and in the meantime Chris was a source of information and a born entertainer.

We had an amazing time with Authentic Lombok tours. The snorkeling trip was really a lifetime experience. Best place for snorkeling we have been. We also did a mixed tour. We saw so many things and experienced so much in one day. Our kids made memories to last a lifetime!

A fantastic day of snorkeling! Chris was simply incredible, he has a great sense of humor and feels like he knows everyone in Lombok. He took us (a small group of just 4 people in total) to some great places and hidden gems where there were almost no other people in sight. We were lucky enough to swim with four different turtles and a seahorse. Chris' team even filmed us, and the video material was made available to us afterwards. In addition, there were local snacks throughout the day that you don't find in typical tourist areas! It was really a lot of fun and will probably remain an unforgettable experience forever. Thanks Chris, it was really authentic!:)

We had a great day with Chris and his team. A nice boat trip away from the crowds and popular spots. We marveled at breathtaking corals, clear waters, a wide variety of fish and other marine animals, and even giant turtles. Thanks to Chris for sharing with us his spectacular secret spots, his science and his intimate knowledge of the region with great passion, generosity and humor.

He took care of my family and myself and showed us around gilis where no one goes.
We were alone in the world and were able to snorkel away from the crowds, we swam with turtles, and saw seahorses.
In addition to all that he took great care of our children and made us discover some local culinary specialties.

If you really want to see and experience authentic, unique and amazing Lombok activities /tours, you must contact the super famous, passionate, fun, kind, crazy Chris!) this is not going to be your classic touristic tour) This tour changed my life! Thanks to Chris for pushing my limits, I was able to conquered my fear and got out of my comfort zone. Chris has been on those fantastic tour guides that have genuinely taken care of us for the entirety of the trip. He took us to beautiful sites around lombok such as waterfalls, islands and pristine clean beaches. I would certainly recommend Chris if you're planning to go for a trip to lombok.

Just went on a tour with Chris and it was one of the best snorkelling tours that I’ve been on. It offered such a unique experience. Coming from Aus, we have pretty amazing beaches, but our day with Chris and the boys was next level. From buying us delicious (and Westerner-safe!) street food on the journey, to his epic DJ skills, to his understanding and love of the quieter, most beautiful and untouched spots on our private snorkel tour the whole day was an experience in "his" Lombok rather than just a snorkelling trip. Swam with turtles, ticked off a bucket list item with a seahorse, saw the most unspoiled coral I've found so far on our travels, was surrounded by tropical fish - thank you to Chris for the stories, Toto for the driving and local history, Adi and Amir for the boating and for jumping with us to show us the best of Lombok's Secret Gilis, and to all the boys for keeping us safe, laughing and engaged all day, you guys are the best. Highly, highly recommend.

After our phenomenal garden tour and cooking class, Chris had recommended his driver Toto for us for the following day as we needed transport. We were looking for someone who could drive us around Lombok Island to explore the sights as we all weren’t comfortable motorbiking. He promptly picked us up at 930am and drove us to a local market, ceramic/pottery shop, a mosque, lunch, beaches and a lot of scenic spots along the way. This was a seamless and enjoyable way to explore the island with a knowledgeable driver! He dropped us off at 530pm but was happy to continue to drive us to dinner if we had wanted. We said our goodbyes and arranged to have him pick us up the following morning to explore new sights as we were driven back to the port to head to our next destination, Nisa Penida. Excellent experience with Toto. Would highly recommend.

We did the Five Gilis tour and were amazed!
It is a bit of a drive, but absolutely worth it when you get the opportunity to be out in the water with only fish, coral, and turtles (we saw 3) and a seahorse. Chris took us away from the mass tours and showed us a whole different side of Lombok, not another snorkel group in sight, just the odd local fisherman.
Chris, and his team, Amid and Risky, were absolutely the best guides we could have asked for.

We saw more than we expected, had lunch on a small little island that was was amazing and the treats he brought from the local bakery were delicious.

6 stars Chris. When we come back, we’ll be seeing you again.

What Chris allowed us to witness and experience became one of the most beautiful experiences in our lives! Insanely beautiful and healthy corals, huge variety of different fish species, being on a literal date with a sea horse, and to top it off swimming together with turtles. We talked with Chris how diving with these magnificent creatures felt similar to dancing tango. I want to sincerely thank Chris and his team for putting such a marvellous trip. To really get authentic Lombok vibes, enjoy some scenic underwater views, and have a wonderful time with lovely people, I highly recommend this!

It was a wonderful snorkeling experience with Chris and his team from Authentic Lombok Tours. They took us to wonderful spots with beautiful corals, fishes, and we got a chance to swim with sea turtle! Everything from the equipments, meals, transportation were well arranged, you know that you are in good hands. Highly recommended.
