BINTAN BLACK CORAL

I recently had the pleasure of going scuba diving at Bintan Black Coral.

The dive master, Rio, was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure to review diving fundamentals and provide a full explanation of the conditions.

The setting was nothing short of breathtaking. Turquoise waters, vibrant coral reefs, and an abundance of marine life made every moment underwater truly rememberable.

What sets this dive operation apart is the beautiful and rustic setting. This is not a resort dive center experience - it is truly authentic.

I went diving for the first time in 20 years.

I was a little apprehensive, but thanks to the preparatory training and wonderful instructors, I had nothing to worry about.

Of course I want to go again.

My friends and I came to bintan black coral to get our open water dive cert and it was the best experience we could have ever asked for.
1, the location was unique and fantastic. It was a stilt house and it was beautiful and surreal. If youre looking for a getaway from the chaotic world, this place is it: D
2, the people. The bintan black coral team were all such nice and friendly and helpful people who really made the 3D3N we were there feel like home. They were all very hospitable individuals. Their efforts can really be seen even in the smallest thing like how thoughtful the meals were.
3, professional and experienced instructor. Rio was our instructor and he was great and effective with his teaching and even gave us very important and useful tips. Alongside Rio were other dive masters who helped out and they too were very helpful and kind, making sure that above everything, we learnt to have fun and appreciate the ocean and what it had to hold.
Overall, if youre looking to take a diving course, I highly recommend bintan black coral. It was really such a surreal experience for us)

Apology for the late review due to busy work life after a wonderful session holiday and diving at Bintan Black Coral with spouse.

Purchased Discovery Dive at my holiday chalet at Bintan Spa Villa, and the instructor was Rio. He teaches us well, and the instruction is clear. It was my spouse first ever dive, and her first experience was good because Rio and his team taught her patiently.

They are expanding the diving kelong with more rooms and making it more ventilated because sometimes it can get humid. I am looking forward to staying and diving at his kelong one day again.

Pernah kesini 2 hari 1 malam, pengalaman yg berkesan banget karena snorkeling alatnya lengkap, pemandangan bagus, main kayak jg ada, foto bawah air bisa, makan malam seafood disediain, kamar tidur bersih, toilet bersih, air lancar, cocok untuk liburan beramai2.

Overall, I had a great experience with the (black coral bintan) ; staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean with reasonable prices and fantastic meals provided. Thank you papi and julia! We will be back! 5 stars services

Hats off to amazing staff members and great instructor, Rio! Very friendly and knowledgable. Although it was the end of season in Bintan, we got relatively ok weather and looking fwd to visiting again in Apr.
There are no instructors who can speak Japanese, but if you can speak simple English, friendly staff and experienced instructors will let you enjoy diving in Bintan. I haven't experienced it, but the recommended time is from April to June, so I definitely want to use it again at that time.

One of the best place to spend your time with nature. What an experience especially the snorkeling and diving.

Tempatnya nyaman, pelayanannya luar biasa. Bahkan bisa kayak rumah sendiri. Makanannya jugaa enak, top laah cocok buat liburan

Very Best Experience for Snorkling, Diving even for stay on the sea. Really entertaining and enjoying. They have a Proffessional Diver Certificate to complete your first diving experience.

Kemaren sempat "discovery diving" disini. Bagi yang belum punya sertifikat diving, bisa coba" diving disekitaran kelong. Bisa mancing dan snorkeling juga. Untuk kategori pembelajaran discovery diving, aktifitas pembelajaran lumayan detail.bagi yang mau nginap dan main" di kelong supaya santai juga bisa.

Bisa mancing, main kano, snorkeling dan diving.
Untuk harga 200rb/orang, minimal bersama 5 orang. Dapat kamar dan makan malam. Untuk alat snorkling disewa dengan harga 50rb (life jacket & alat snorkle). Pancingan bawa sendiri, tapi bisa nyewa juga staffnya sangat ramah dan friendly. Ada kucing juga, namanya Bella dan Coki

A nice place to stay - here are some of my experiences:
- Friendly, low-key hospitality from the owner and staff
- Decent fishing, generally small to medium reef fish. Cuttlefish can be caught too.
- A coral reef with giant clams, anemones, crabs, various reef fishes and sea urchins directly behind the kelong. Not the most impressive, but the proximity and ease of access makes up for it.
- Decent snorkelling spots nearby the kelong that can be accessed with a short boat trip
- Kayaking is available, but prior arrangements should be made for a large group as there are limited kayaks on site
- Electricity in the bedrooms is available during the night time only. For daytime use (phone charging, etc), need to get from the staff side.
- Bedrooms are fairly basic with only mattresses, a fan, a charging point and a balcony overlooking the sea
- Food is good and very local, with large serving sizes
- Bathroom is basic, with only a toilet bowl and tap. Showering is by pail. The toilets were clean during my visit, but it probably depends on the group you are visiting with.
Overall a good, laid back experience. Like a chalet in the sea.
