The Silk Route Restaurant

Came there for lunch at 11.30, felt like having the whole room and staff for private fine dining. Chef Amin himself came to our table for giving food suggestions, then again asked for feed back. Food tasted great, spicy enough as we requested not to make it milder. With amazing view of high rise buildings seen from 21st level, Silk Route is incomparable to other Indian restaurants in Jakarta.

The Silk Route Restoraunt berada di lantai tertinggi (lantai 21) Sainath Tower yang menyuguhkan pemandangan panorama indah sekitar Kemayoran. Yang unik adalah restoran ini berputar, mungkin yg pertama di Indonesia. Sayangnya jika malam hari, kita ngak bisa dengan jelas melihat view di luar karena pantulan sinar lampu.
Mereka memiliki menu India, China dan Barat, juga menu vegetarian. Resto ini cocok buat acara dengan kapasitas lumayan sampai 150 orang.
Untuk harga memang lumayan mahal, namun sesuai konsep mereka fine dining.

A great restaurant with revolving floor. For you who have motion sickness, you better ask for the table in the middle, it can be a little bit dizzy, when you're aware that your seat is moving while you eat.

The food was great. I asked for recommended menu and I think the man was the owner, he was super friendly, he recommended awesome combination. We ordered assorted kebab platter non vegan, butter chicken with garlic naan bread. The foods were fresh, delicious and flavorful.

Service was great, people there were friendly and polite.

The ambience was outstanding and if someone didn't notice, this is a revolving restaurant.

The Indian food was amazing and it was prepared exactly like we have it in India.

The GM - Mr Anupam Bhandari was very friendly and ensured we are comfortable and recommended the best cuisines in their restaurant.

The whole staff are very polite and friendly.

On a whole, we absolutely enjoyed the experience and food.

Would strongly recommend going there.

Just a word of caution if you are going with kids (below 3 years) who would be running around as everything in the restaurant is fragile including the glass tables, expensive flower vases and pottery.

We savored some fabulous Veg. Indian cuisine. Truely an awesome experience in a palatial dining area. I was surprised by the grandeur & if you are missing surprises and want to have some splendid time, then this is the place that cant be missed.

Staff ramah. Resto dan barnya classic. Punya pemandangan yang bagus karena kaca nya tembus pandang. Ada dilt 20 dan 21. Cukup oke untuk tempat dinner.

Spacious with great view, not to mention excellent veg indian menus. Went there on sunday for lunch and pretty much hav the whole place for ourselves!

The parking lot is kind of scary! Perfect place for those who wants to practice driving to its ramp.

Nice food.if you are pure vegetarian and want to have non onion and non garlic food this is the place for you. Revolving platform gives you a good view in afternoon.

Nice ambiance and good food. I would recommend the indian menu here. The chindi dishes are average and not to my liking. Very fast service. The rotation of the podium where you are seated is hardly noticeable, but becomes apparent as you see the changing views

Definitely worth a visit. This is an upscale Indian restaurant where 100 percent is vegetarian. They will make vegan versions, however.

Set atop an office tower, it Is a revolving restaurant with some amazing views from their balcony!

No signage on the street for this place, need to know where it is.

Both food and service were fantastic, the manager really went out of his way.

We did not have any issues picking the dishes we wanted as other reviews mentioned. Also note that they do serve beer even though it is not printed on the menu.

Only negative on my visit was that it was empty. We were the only guests which made for a weird vibe. However I would definitely come back and would recommend.

Indian vegetarian restaurant that also served western food and chinese food. Many option is sold out so it is better you reserve the place and the menu that you want to order before you coming to the place.

I think this is Jakarta only Revolving Restaurant.they serve pure vegetarian food to cater mostly Indian crowd. It takes one hour to complete one round. The restaurant is very big and provides unique experience of eating food on a rotating platform. Food is delicious and most of the Indian dishes one can find here
