Sushi Matsu - Wahid Hasyim

My best sushi place so far! I always spent my sushi date at little tokyo (south jakarta) but na’ah this place served much better! I only hope they served warm tamagoyaki also.

There are various kinds of sushi with fresh salmon and ingredients. The Orange juice is so refreshing.

Tempat ini hidden gems. Kurang terlihat dari jalan raya karena menyatu dengan hotel.
Makanannya enakkk, meskipun agak sedikit mahal, tapi worth every penny kok.

Sushi Matsu terletak di dalam hotel Grand Cemara daerah Menteng. Ke sini karena habis pijat di Matsu Reflexology yang juga terletak dalam hotel ini. Ini adalah kali pertama saya datang dan mencoba sushi di sini. Sebelumnya saya hanya sering melewati tempat ini dan memang terlihat cukup ramai. Meskipun saya kurang yakin, yang ramai hotelnya, reflexynya atau restaurant sushinya. Saat saya masuk ternyata cukup ramai juga yang sedang dine in. Jadi saya anggap tempat ini sepertinya cukup punya nama, namun gak begitu booming aja. Masuk akal karena rasanya enak dan harganya mahal. Bukan tempat makan susi yang terjangkau. Menunya juga bukan menu sushi atau masakan jepang yang umum saya temui, ada banyak yang saya tidak familiar. Namun, karena harganya kurang terjangkau, tentu tidak bisa saya coba semua haha.
Overall, pelayanannya cepat, variasi menunya banyak, harganya mahal, dan saya tidak kenyang (sampai akhirnya pindah lanjut makan ke tempat lain). Menurut saya mahal its okay karena dibarengi dengan kualitas makanannya. Saya yang kurang cocok makan di tempat seperti ini haha. I'll come back when I have extra money with me!

Great sushi place, what an amazing accidental finding. I was here planning to try the nearby massage parlor when I stumbled upon this sushi place. Their menu offers a wide range of fishes and clams, they got a lot of uncommon ones as well compared to the more renowned sushi chains. Price level is comparable to that of Sushi T*i but it's definitely worth more here given the choice of dishes! Their foie gras topping tastes really good as well.

Very much recommended if you want to spend some more money on great sushi.

Sushi is a 7, service a 6. Long waiting for drinks and gave a wrong order. Ordered fois gras but it’s not.really doubtful meat. Send it back but the service relating to this was not very pleasant. Pricy so recommend to go somewhere else if you want to avoid this privileged problems.

Their pecel is oke eventhough not so special. There is live music for entertainment. But unfortunately they don't sell the peyek separately when we want to buy it more. The price is rationable.

Great place for some japanese food. They moved to grand cemara hotel at the end of the road while their regular place is being renovated.

This place has an awesome meat and rice with butter sauce. Its crazy good. Its crazy expensive with small portions too. I spent about 140k for just that with iced ocha. Thats like stomach filling holycow right there. So my gripe is just about the price and portions, but i cant deny that it is insanely delicious.

Dry Ramen nya selalu jadi tujuanku. Enak bgt. Ngga begitu pedes tp bikin nafsu makan bertambah. Dessert nya pake Mochi Ice Cream yang Matcha

Pretty good place to grab sushi around. The taste is so good. Although the place isn't really big but comfortable and decent. The price is quite pricey, but ain't complain since the food and services are good.

Rasa makanannya enak, sayang waktu datang ke sini, salmonnya lagi kehabisan. Harga standard resto makanan jepang. Parkir terbatas, kalau lagi full mungkin agak kesulitan dapat parkir

Food is good, only has no set with rice and soup, has to order separately. Salmon avocado roll is good. Salmon teriyaki too deep fried. Matcha ice-cream so nice.

Super outstanding sushi and Japanese food in central Jakarta. While you visited this town and missed kind of Japanese food, this place strongly recommended one. This place near with Jakarta business center such as Sarinah, government bodies and agency also the center of tourist attraction. Surrounded with abundance hotel make this place quite comfortable for tourist. Restaurant are divided into two rooms, smoking and non smoking room. Menus are various and really represent what you looking for from Japanese food. Sushi, Ramen, Ocha tea and so on. The price is slightly good, you would spent for IDR 200-300K (cost is for two person) and normally for standart menu. This restaurant will provide a big portion of each food, so you won't worried if you need extra food.

Wow, if you craving for the best sushi in central jakarta, go and get them in sushimatsu, the sushi rice here is gooooo great. The ambience is sooo great, lil bit pricey but worth to try.
