Mondo By The Rooftop

Now that the original owner got out of the field, this bar has lost the true value of special atmosphere. It was fun to exchange opinion, informtion, knowledge, experience of variety of music with visitors when he was there. At least, still now, however, you can enjoy what he left there. So I'd like to score it as 2 stars. But the new owner knows nothing. He doesn't have any senses of Indonesian culture. The time has changed. I really miss those good days.

The events are very niche. Not everyone would enjoy their events, but the place is chill and if you so happen to wind up at the right event, its a nice place to drink.

Not so cheap tho, but not SCBD expensive

Great place for beers and hangouts, various genre of musics including for anime otakus, definitely my favourite place in south jakarta

This place surely is a cool cribs although it is Located on the rooftop of somewhat abandoned building. Actually it is a lil bit creepy in the hallway to the elevator - The hallway is a shabby place with a lot of graffiti on its wall (but it can be a cool spot to take your instagram photos ;).

Mondo itself will welcome you with a chill ambience - they provide indoor and outdoor seating area. From Mondo, you can see the MRTs passing by.
The other special thing about Mondo is the remarkable Orang Tua’s red wine or you can call it “Amer - Anggur Merah”

The price is considered pricey. The parking lot can serve 10 cars or even more.

The place from outside might not look like it. But it's unique on its own good. The music is good too

Place to enjoy local drinks in Jakarta, kinda pricey for a local drinks, but they have a good vibes so mondo would still be a great place to hang out!

My no. 1 pick on hangout nights for many occasions! I love the place, love the people, the staff, the food, the music and everything in between. Its rare to find place like Mondo nowadays

One of jakarta hidden gem that offers simple pleasure of hanging out on the rooftop. The entrance and bottom floors might scares you as it look like zombie invested abandon building. Just keep going to the top and chill!

My go to place every time I wanna hang and spend the night drinking local drinks! The place is cozy with good lightings and groovy music, for those who bored with bad music and crowd.

Great hangout spot! Cheap local drinks, great music and cozy ambience. Abit far from other places but worth a visit!

Nice place to hangout and stuff. The place is kind of hidden though as you gotta go through some stage venue and go upstairs to find it. Vibe is nice and is very comfy for hanging out. Sadly though when there's an event going, it gets hot because of how crowded it is and the ventilation is bad.

Great place & good people gather here, they always have events going on. If you never been here, should definitely check this place out
