I had a delightful Indonesian dining experience at Lara Djonggrang, set in historically and culturally adorned rooms. It was my second day back in Jakarta, and I was craving traditional Indonesian cuisine. I stumbled upon this gem in the Menteng area and was not disappointed.

Great environment. Service was good. Food was average (but that might be because of our own choice). Desert was not available because the chief making desert was not available. Overall it’s ok.

Emmm harga lmyn mahal krn tidak berbanding dgn rasanya, dan porsi nya kecil2. Mnrt sy kurang enak mknannnya, lumayan cuma bakwan jagung, yg lain krg enak. Sampe sambel mangga aja mama sy blg ga enk.
Pesen sate ayam, bakwan jagung, gule kepala ikan, udang pete nasi 4 dan teh tawar 4. Total 583.275. Mahal sih. Krn ga ada yg enak dan porsi kecil. Ini harga 10 januari 2019. Utk pertama dan terakhir kesini. Nyesel.

Nothing wrong with the place, great service, good location. But price to value is need to be desire. Probably best serve for tourist. The room has been sprayed with baygon makes you wander what would happen to your meals

Loved every Tugu Group restaurants, including this one. Love the decor. Food is local/Indonesian. Try sate lilit. Price wise, it's on high side

A bit too pricey and not really my kind of place. But you should try while you’re around. The foods were good though.

As a Javanese, I am impressed with this place. The interior is so authentic, the food is tasteful, the service is great, and it is short visiting!

An upscale Indonesian restaurant, serving variety of Indonesia's regional dishes. This restaurant attracts some tourist and expatriats. Decorated with some antiques and old style furnitures, old statues etc. All food is beautifully presented, food tasted good too. Bar at the back is very cozy. It's worth a visit once a while.

Pecel Blitarnya enak banget, rempeyeknya buat sendiri dan garing banget. Ditutup pake es cincau gula merah plus jeruk nipis yg.ngebayanginnya aja udah seger!
