Small place but very good food. One of the best meals I've had in Jakarta. Obviously steak but also the crab salad was a standout. Food around 800k+ per person.

3rd time coming to Javanegra, first 2 times (a while ago), was not good. But this time for Saturday lunch, most menu on point!

Must Order! - Iberico Sate Babi Manado, Sweet bread, Chipirones
Highly Recommended - Tapas Varidas, Jamon Iberico
Pretty Good - Octopus Salad
Not recommended - Seafood Paella, Uni Pasta

Being a pescatarian, I didn't try the beef but my group of friends raved about the meat.

Recommend the Paella and baked potatoes.
Forgo the fish maw soup.

The food is great and the staff service is impeccable! My favorite restaurant in Jakarta. Parking is limited, so take a taxi.

So first things first, this is a luxury choice. Small restaurant with absolutely fantastic Spanish food, probably the best we have had in Indonesia, but it comes at a price. We are not big eaters so 4 appetizers were enough for lunch. The grilled mushrooms were the standout. Only negative for us was the lack of choice on wine, it's high end or nothing. Fair enough that is the proposition, duly noted and perhaps bring our own next time. In summary if you want exceptional Spanish food, and are prepared to splurge, dont hesitate. We will be back.

Well, really high expectation when we went here few nights ago. And oh boy, do they top it! The details to every part of the meal was amazing. Definitely will come back for more, even though the traffic was bad (our own fault, came here on friday night).

Got recommended by friend of mine. Great food, their pulpo is amazing. Went to food coma right after

Jamon Iberico and other Spanish menus are great. Premium steak could have been better with that price range.

Excellent food and services.

It was good, went here many times:
- first time ordered steak and Sabor De Mar Carabineros
- second time we ordered Spanish Tomahawk.

Selection of cheese also very good, i think the best in Jakarta so far.

Price is not cheap, but worth it for the experience and taste.

It’s always a pleasure to eat here…the food is great the service is wonderful. The fusion and the presentation of the plating is truly a work of art. They have authentic spanish cuisine and also a nice mix of Indonesian style dish as well. What you must try is the cured ham, the pasta, the fish, and definitely the nasi goreng! The dessert is truly a refreshing taste from the savory meal. The place is very private and we feel very homey there.

Empty restaurant on a weekend evening; staff sitting outside chatting; no real sign board; hard to miss actually. What kills it is them insisting on a 1 million rupiah per person coverage charge. Now I know why your restaurant is empty. No loss if you close down; looks like you don’t want customers. Bummer.

This restaurant was fantastic. The ambiance and decor were outstanding. The cuisine, albeit, was the true star of the show. My heart swelled with delight for each bite of the food. The aroma of the food, the visuals, and, most importantly, the taste of the food were all exemplary. I'd return in a heartbeat.

At Javanegra Gourmet Atelier, it was so cozy that it felt like visiting a friend's home.
Food was absolutely fabulous. We ordered a dry-aged steak, salad, fried calamari and beef hot dog to share. To generalize, I think everything was highly professional both in terms of taste and presentation. Steak was rich in flavor amazing with the perfect doneness; salad was fresh, crisp and ample; calamari was perfectly fried with soft bouncy texture at the bite (however, dipping sauce was slightly salty) ; and hot dog was so classy that we would always come back for more. Price is slightly steep, but comes with uncompromised quality.

The aged beef selection here is EXCELLENT! Served on a circular charcoal fired hotplate that is perfect for sharing and it keeps the steak hot throughout the meal. Be careful it doesn't get overdone though. But be prepared to pay a premium for the good beef as the minimum order is 500g. Pasta is perfectly done. Will be back next time to try more items from the menu. I heard the coffee is great too.

Fantastic food. The bone marrow was perfection.
Staff were friendly & helpful.
Red wine was served chilled, this is not typical in Europe especially for full bodied reds.
