2 Secret gems in west Jakarta. Akili Museum is Rudy Akili's private collection. He believes that art can be enjoyed and lesson of life can be learned by many. Great ambiance of greenery landscape, pool, birds chirping and wind chiming. They also have dogs in shady and fenced area.
Open for public, free of charge, by appointment only.
I didn't get in. I did arrive. It is not a stand along building. But inside a community. I have to take Grab and get inside the community to find this museum. But the guard in front of Akili museum, say, I need registration first or he means today they have event, anyway English is not communicable. I didn't get even inside the museum. Really bad experience and this place is so difficult for driver to find. I really do suggest the museum considering giving more clear information or instruction for foreigner guests to really did visit this place. I don't even k~ow what it looks like. Bad!
