Taal Indian Restaurant - Lippo Karawaci

One of the worst Indian food I came across in Indian restaurants in Jakarta, not at all authentic Indina, taste less food

This place used to be a decent indian place to go eat fake-ish indian. But the naan has gotten progressively worse and that's one of the first reasons you go eat at an indian place! There are other places worth your time and money. Portions are small.

This restaurant's service is way below poor. Before we got it there, we DID ask in advance whether Zomato Gold promo (buy 1 get 1 free) was available or not. They said yes, we came in, we ordered (waited for about 30 minutes while nobody was there on the queue). When we were done, we asked for the bill (they hadn't printed out the bill yet) and they told us that we couldn't use the Zomato Gold promo. It was because we needed to unlock the code before we make the order. This doesn't make sense at all. Even if it does, well they should've told us way before! We DID ask about the promo, and they KNEW it. We complained to the owner, but the owner didn't do anything about it. They could've cancelled whatever they put into the system and rearrange a new order, but they didn't bother. I'd definitely try to fight for it if there was no other guest in there. Very disappointed. The taste of the food is so average. Never worth the price.

Food - too spicy even after asking not to make it spicy. Food taste was not too good. It's just good because of least options available in Karawaci or around.

Service - Good, fast and polite

Atmosphere - Clean, hygienic and smells nice.

I have come here often and generally the food is good. Last night was an exception. Ordered Tandoori Chicken, Lentils and Lamb Rogan Dosh. The chicken and the lentils were ok but the lamb in the Rogan Dosh was mostly connective tissue. Not nice. They ran out of okra and lassi.

From all i ordered, love their mutton bothi kebab. Moist and juicy with perfect combination of fat and muscle meat.
Happy to finally try panipoori, an indian street food seen in tv. Cant judge since this is my 1st time.
The lowlight from this meal would be masala tea. Should have asked if they use fresh milk rather than some powdered or instant mix.

A decent indian food di tangerang, harga a bit on the high side, the nasi briyani mutton is actually preety good.

Untuk rasa lumayan lah, tapi menurut ku bukan yang waw banget. Butter chicken nya agak cair.

Untuk pelayanannya ok banget. Mba2 nya ramah dan jelasin dengan sabar dan sopan saat kita tanya detail makanannya.

kalau km awam dengan masakan india tolong jangan sungkan bertanya supay dijelaskan menunya, menu sangat lengkap jadi gk mungkin kamu paham semuanya, jangan malu bertanya

Reasonably good food but the variety is overwhelming. Too many selections and no explanation on the dishes. Difficult for a non Indian to choose the selection. Should simplify the menu.

A decent place to get authentic indian food. Not extremely authentic but it's one of the more authentic places around. Price is slightly on the expensive side but worth the price especially when you have been away from home for long.

The place is not really big, but the food is ok. The briyani rice is delicious, very tasty. I think Taal is the only indian restaurant in Tangerang so if you guys looking for different food, other than korean and japanese, this is your choice. No regret.

A real game changer in the highly competitive restaurant business. Taal Indian is the ultimate authentic Indian dining experience in Tangerang City near Karawaci supermall. If you want the best Indian food at a very reasonable price, I cannot recommend more.

The food is great and the restaurant explain their menus well to those who are new to indian foods. My favorite menu is chicken tikka masala
