Convenient hotel for a stopover in Sanur before taking the ferries to the islands. The facilities are very basic but I didn't expect more given the price. Check out carried out with a not very friendly hotel agent. The many birds are actually caged and are noisy.

+Plants and pool in the courtyard were very nice
-Non-working shower even though the staff knew about it. The subsequent room was a downgrade without a discount.
-AC costs extra, unusual in the price category.
-Holes in the pillowcase and towel.
-Floor was a bit dirty. Mirrors were tarnished and needed to be replaced.
-The room was not cleaned or tidied during the day.
-The big negative point was the numerous birds and fish in enclosures/cages/tanks that were far too small and dirty. Animal welfare is probably not the top priority here.
-It's also surprising that everything costs extra for the "included" breakfast. No staff came to breakfast so we went somewhere else to eat.
-Staff was noticeably unfriendly
-Way to the beach was longer than expected.
-Overall we didn't feel well and left one night earlier than planned.

This is very subjective, but I don't want to support a place that keeps animals in cages (aquariums). There are dozens of caged birds around the homestay to create a jungle-like atmosphere, and the place seems to be connected to an aquarium/fish store. Regardless of the reason (breeding), for me, this is no different than keeping tigers, elephants or other animals in cages. This is the reason why I'm leaving one start.

Booked with Agoda. We arrived with our things, we were told that there were no places goodbye. I had to run around in the night to find a hotel to stay for the night.

Also has great gardens with lots of birds and goldfish. The swimming pool is not large but is clean and cool

We always use homestays when traveling. Yulia1 is 1 of the better ones we have stayed in. Only a couple of thing i can fault. No towels on arrival, but fixed quickly. The bed top cover is not big enough. 1 of us misses out with a cover and its only a small sheet, needs a proper duvet. No water in room. Even if just 1 small bottle each for bathroom useage. No daiky room service. But showers hot, aircon cold.

Very nicely green place, locates right on the best spot of walking street of Sanur. Clean and quiet enough for your peaceful vacation.

We always come back, is a great place, clean, quiet, beautiful garden, nice little pool and good breakfast.

Always my number one choice in Sanur. An oasis of calm with a nice pool and clean rooms. Really good fruit breakfast! Very well priced
