Yakiniku Tendan (Tendan Korean BBQ) @Batubelig

This is a popular Korean yakiniku restaurant with two locations in Bali, and perhaps because of its location, it has more foreign guests than the one in the Kuta area.
Yakiniku is delicious with salted top tongue and skirt steak, and the ice-cold Bintang beer is also the best
The manager is Japanese

We found everything here really salty (meat marinade, side dishes, soup). If you’re looking for an authentic Korean BBQ this is definitely not the place. More of an Indonesian spin-off:

They make their own version of Ssamjang, which tastes nothing like what it should. The BBQ comes with Sambal-marsh which is fascinating. All in all, the food is not terrible, but I feel lost. Get ready to get smoked out!

The barbq is indeed very delicious, various options from beef, pork, chicken, vegetables, and alcohol drinks too.
The interior is vintage and simple, its not a luxury restaurant but I have to admit the foods are delicious.
If you are around, do try this one.

Korean bbq without samjang is not really a K-bbq. Koreans don’t eat bbq with gochujang…
Also when I said ‘samgyeopsal (pork belly) ’ a staff didn’t understand what it was.

Knowing that the owner of this place is Japanese, I think there is some Japanese influence that might confuse some people if they’ve never tried K-bbq before. (E.g. Charging for small side dishes etc)

I would suggest other places for more authentic experience. However their meat and yakiniku style charcoal grill (again, Japanese) was actually pretty decent.

Great selection of quality meat. Can get a bit smoky at the tables but to be expected. Fun dinner with a group

Friendly service, cozy place, affordable meats and barbeque. Recomended for you who like to have barbeque with friends and family.

The service is so slowly and the grill is fill of the smoke we almost suffocated while we eating the kimchi soup is tasteless.

We liked this place a lot and have been here two times. Not only the food is good, tasty and unusual, but also the process of its preparation when you grill it by yourself. The staff are also friendly and nice.

By far the worst Yakiniku place in Bali, I ordered Namuru and it was spoiled, it smells so bad and the meat (wagyu boneless short ribs), the cuts are just horrible. Its so chewy and taste sour. Lastly its overpriced, not worth for its quality.

If you want a better yakiniku experience, go for Sama Sama (for a cheaper one, since they have an all you can eat package) and Magal (for a more expensive price but better quality meat)

Good food, so much option for the menu, quite nice place but the price little bit too expensive for the food, and the services was very limited.

The beef is too thin like a bacon and very far from korean taste.but the service and preparations was good.
