We agreed to meet at 7AM at the shop to go surfing. The instructor was 35 minutes late and didn’t let us know or answer his phone. When he finally got there, we went in the van and after a long time driving we ended up all the way on the other end of the peninsula. I thought we would just go to a beach nearby since didn’t receive any info (even though we asked for it), just that we would surf max 2 hours. I had to work that day, so I had to take a shorter lesson and take a taxi back myself. The surf lesson itself was good, but the lack of communication and the extra costs for a taxi all the way back made it a bad experience. Hope they can improve the information given before so that the expectations are clear

I was connected with Adin who became my surf guide for the week and helped me get sick waves at Uluwatu and took my gf and her friend for a beginner lesson. We all had a great time. Good selection of nice rental boards.

Expensive board rental. More than double than most places. I paid 350k/day while could just paid 150k in another venue. If you can go somewhere else.

I stopped going there because they charge you 2% extra if you want to pay with credit card which is illegal in Indonesia. After I explained this on 3 different occasion i tool my business somewhere else. Yes it doesn’t matter to my budget but it’s a principle and disrespect

Worst Beerpong tournament you can do, they take 100k per registration, no welcome drink, no free beers, and lousy organization, sometimes you play with 4 glasses, sometimes with 7, in short I'll stop there

I was sold a surfboard at a price much higher than its real value with the promise of buying it back from me for 1 million rupiahs cheaper upon my departure from Bali. When I went to deliver the surfboard, they told me they don't accept surfboards and that I had to speak with the person who sold it to me.

I do not recommend this surf shop at all; the service is terrible.

Staff with very bad customer service. I wanted to buy a board, but the ill will of the woman serving made me want to. There are several places in Bali to provide you with good service and good attention, do not waste time entering.

My boyfriend left his Christenson board here for selling and they told us they would keep us updated. This was on April. Still not notice, and after writing them via WhatsApp in more than one occasion, they didn't even replied back.

I'm forced to write this negative review to see if after this review they pay SOME ATTENTION to him, because for now 0/10. For now, the only thing we have is 0 boards, 0 money. Don't recommend them for selling your board.

I went to put a board up for sale. They promised me that everything would be fine even if I was out of Bali, and that when the board was sold they would send me my part of the money. They gave me a watsapp contact too, to which they never responded. 5 months later I still haven't heard from the table. A shame, a scam.

I had a great experience here! The crew are super friendly, honest and helpful. I bought the wrong board from my own inexperience. The crew in the shop took their time and helped me out to exchange the board for one to better suit me. Win win. Food here is also on point, so yum

Besides that the local staff is very nice and helpful, but that can’t make up for the attitude the american owner brings…

Such a great surf shop! Came here in January of 2023 looking for a sweet board and they delivered. Some of the coolest people in Bali working here. The staff and owner are really nice and know alot about surfing the staff also is super knowledgable about what kind of board and fins fit your style of surfing! My next board purchase will most definitely be at the White Monkey Surf Shop!
