Wasabi Hotel and Restaurant

Great stay at Wasabi Hotel. Very well located, close to very good restaurants in a still quite are of Canggu. The swimming pool has a fantastic sun exposition. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and it has fan and AC. Friendly and responsive service. I do recommend.

Beautiful complex, nicely furnished rooms, loungers with umbrellas by the pool, delicious breakfast, nice staff, many good restaurants within walking distance. We wanted to extend it, that was a bit difficult. We would have expected more customer service. But in the end we agreed.

Good restaurant with an attractive formula. Be careful, you have to add taxes and the drinks are expensive.

The location of the hotel is very good and you can quickly get to the beach and also to the center of Canggu.
The room was very well equipped and really big.

Makanan okelah, nachos wasabi enak, sushi biasa, chicken teriyaki bento enak, suasana enak santai, pelayanan ramah cuma ada 1 mbok nya ngga begitu ngerti, klo ditanya, nanya dulu ke dapur. Untuk parkir mbl di pinggir jalan aja.

We did not stay at the hotel, we only went for dinner, the food was very good, although a little scarce.

We had such a beautiful stay at Wasabi! We went down to the sushi bar and enjoyed the most delicious variety of sushi, very fresh and tasty!
The pool is relaxed and calm perfect place to sit with friends and relax, and order a cheeky cocktail!
The balcony in the room is a great place to have late night chats and watch the sunset, aircon is very refreshing after a long day out and wifi is quick and efficient.
I would highly recommend this stay to all my friends and family!

I can only speak to the all you can eat menu and I wouldn’t recommend. The sushi is all rice, paper thin slices of the actual fish. 0 flavor. Not very fresh.

I ate at the restaurant. They have a very good all you can eat deal. The quality of the sushi is on the spot. Extremely fresh and prepared in the moment. Will be back!

Extremely dissapointing experience at their all you can eat. The food comes very slow. They bring you a set of sushi and after that you wait 15 minutes at least for the next one. The easiest way to make customers very angry. I paid the entire all you can eat price, but they did not bring me not even half of the ordered food. Also, the guy who brought the food was very rude. I told him that I was extremlely dissapointed and he laughed in my face! My lesson is that when you read reviews saying that the food comes very slow you believe it, otherwise you experience it by yourself and you ruin your day.

Pros:

+ helpful staff;
+ cleanliness in the room and the quality of cleaning;
+ Cool management campaign (I know because the employees sometimes worked in another hotel where we rested) ;
+ restaurant: the prices are loyal and the quality of the dishes was good;

Minuses:
- in our room "Orchid" the pump was constantly heard in the evening, at night and in the morning it wildly interfered;
- in the restaurant, pricing is floating, sometimes discounts are given to guests, sometimes not;
- there was always a stale smell in the bathroom, which sometimes penetrated into the room;
- the refrigerator was very loud, we had to turn it off at night, because of this, our products were lost;
- design for an amateur: very dark rooms, waking up in them in the morning is not very pleasant;
- wooden windows in one glass, in the morning they start to go to neighboring villas, sometimes it interferes with sleep;

I love Wasabi. Every time I need a place to stay in Pererenan I stay here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the team does an amazing job keeping all the facilities in top condition. Breakfast options are also excellent. Highly recommended

Great food. So fresh and beautifully presented. Fabulous Lychee Martini's. The people are just beautiful. We have been there at least 5 times. So far. I so recommend this place.

All you can eat Sushi for 110,000 IDR. The all you can eat menu is a set menu and does not include the whole menu. We found it a bit limited especially because they were out of salmon so only had tuna and a couple other rolls. The tuna didn’t seem super fresh as it was more of a dark grey color than pink, but tasted fine and I didn’t get sick. The service was great, and loved that they offer free little bowl of edamame with it, and a thank you dessert bite which we weren’t expecting.

One of the best places we can visit, the space has a charming hotel and an excellent Japanese restaurant.

Wasabi is conveniently located in Pererenan. There are many eateries around the hotel and the beach is just a 5 min walk. The room is clean and spacious, but there is not really any view from balcony. The restaurant food tasted a little underwhelming compared to those around the area. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Overall we had a good experience staying in Wasabi Hotel.

I had the sushi buffet here. Two starts because of the hidden costs. You had to pay extra for salmon, water, and they charged you 6% for service tax and 10% ON TOP OF THAT. In total, it came to 230k instead of the expected 130k. Food was good though.

All-you-can-eat freshly made sushi! Everyday?
