Warung Tom Kah

Very nice homely cafe, Pad Thai is not bad. Nice prices and a very friendly owner.

I would also like to share my impression of Tom Yum soup. Guys, I understand that everyone has different tastes, but this is just a disgusting version of Tom Yum with the taste of burnt tomato paste. Those who like this version do not deserve any credibility in evaluating this iconic Thai dish.

Ate very, very good Thai curry. The spring rolls were also great. Authentic cuisine, which I can only recommend. From the outside, the Warung looks very inconspicuous. Don't let that fool you. The owner is great. Great person!

The owner is a very personable and friendly man. The food was delicious and his two dogs, Brownie and Lissy, are sugar

Delicious, cheap tom yam

This is not the first time I have come to this place to try one of the best tom yams on the island.

A very rich, creamy, tangy broth. The spiciness can be adjusted on a scale from 1 to 10. Lots of broth, 5-7 peeled shrimp, some greens and the optimal amount of mushrooms. Yes, this is more of a Moscow version of tom yam, but I personally like it better than the one with sour mushrooms in the composition.

The cost of the plate is 35k. Rice costs an additional 15k.

The place itself does not inspire confidence, an ordinary warung, but the owner is very good-natured, there are many regular visitors here, the curry here is also praised, but I personally didn’t really like it, I’m just not a fan of this dish.

Not great as expexted. Prices are cheap good portions but not a thai restaurant and shrimps was not available

Food is incredible and fairly priced. Feels like you’re eating at home and the owner is always welcoming and smiling. Highly recommend the soups and the black pepper beef.

Porsinya banyak sekali, harga terjangkau, owner ramah sekali, masakan nya enak semuanya. Kalian harus coba!

I’ve given this place several tries.
Their curry is tasty, super cheap and good portion.
Pad thai is the wrong noodle, flavorless and way too much bean sprouts, to be fair most Thai places in Bali are rather disappointing. I have high standards for Thai food especially for pad thai.
Another thing is their Chai tea is very authentic proper Thai flavor, IMO (so it’s super sweet, keep the ice!)
But they only serve you half empty glass (ha ha) every time, barely 1/3 that time I ask for less ice - I honestly thought they accidentally gave me a left over drink from someone else.: (

My canteen in Canggu! The taste is really close from what you can find in Thailand (my favorites: red chicken curry and basil chicken), the portions are big, it's cheap and above all, the owner is super nice! And.food is coming fast. I think I would go almost everyday if I was living closer.

The food is not Thai food, it is just cheap slap together and flavourless.

We waited an hour for hour food to receive it and been astonished it what we received.

Great food, super friendly owner.kept giving us Xmas biscuits. Served drinks and orders taken by Dad, Mom cooked and niece brought out the food. An experience becoming unique these days, unfortunately.
Highly recommended for a warm welcome, fresh food and fair prices.
