10This is a real local warung. It doesn't look very attractive, but the food there is 100% delicious. If you don’t want to sit in such an environment, be sure to take it with you, you won’t regret it! Gadu-Gadu is the best I've tried in Bali.
You get exactly what you pay for. Okay place. Food is fine but nothing special. Good for a quick lunch.
A nice fried rice and cap cay (fried mixed vegetables)! This is a small family eatery with fair price!
Where the locals eat. The best Warung in Ubud I have been many times.
They are very friendly and their food is excellent enak sekali
Amazing, best value for money in Ubud, a bit of a wait, but worth it. They are so nice too. The flavors are there. Very authentic.
The food is home-cooked, but the wait is very long. He always does takeout first, and it takes a really long time...
In the 3 weeks in Bali, on my quest of eating through local food (mostly warung), this one was the best we have tried so far. This is confirmed by Asian tongue (mine) and German tongues (my friends eating there). She cooks everything freshly and tries every dish before serving it (by putting a bit of sauce on her palm. Totally recommend to watch and learn). I wish I could stay there longer to learn from her or at least eat some more of her food. Do yourself a favor and try some of the best local foods there. A true hidden gem.
We have required fried chicken (ayam goreng) and fried sea fish (ikan laut goreng) for 33.000 the each dish. It were small 4inch fishy and five small pieces of actually chicken bones. Bon appetite
Basic menu, solid food quality, place where the locals eat. Very few seats, but it seams there is always some space there:)
Eat with locals at very low prices! This place is totally non pretentious, actually it's low end however locals eat here a lot and food is really good. We have had Babi goreng (fried pork with vegetables), Ta Mie (noodles with meat and vegetables) and nasi goreng. All was really good
Prices vary around 18 til 30 per dish and are quite vast. Amazing fresh drinks are es lemen and es jeruk (lemonade and orangeade) which are freshly squeezed for just 8k.
So expect to eat a lot, eat delicious but in a modest place among locals
