Warung sciue sciue (Italian food ) ulasan
32Food was amazing. Best Carbonara I've had by far. Absolutely delicious. Friendly service and great price.
Once you've had enough of Soto Ayam and Mir Goreng.absolutely delicious, everything fresh, we really enjoyed it. House wine (red wine) also good. Very friendly owner. Not forgetting the limoncello - will be back
Just called in after arriving in sanur 3 of us, food was absolutely brilliant guy who owns it waiting on tables, good conversation, relaxing atmosphere, a real professional, will be back during the week, and the prices, well just call in you will be very surprised!
Our whole family loved our meals.
Great service, cold drinks, couldn’t ask for more.
It was a quiet night at Warung Sciue Sciue, but the calm just added to the evening. Welcomed by the owner and seated, we noticed first how beautifully clean the restaurant was, which was followed through with all the table ware being spotless, including crystal clear glassware. The menu was diverse enough and highlighted a number of traditional Italian dishes alongside some accepted as being Italian. All the food was beautiful, and we left fully satisfied and vowing to return. Only juices, soft drinks, beers, and wines are available. Prices are excellent
Best restaurant in Bali, super friendly staff. A recommendation for everyone who likes to eat Italian.
Fantastic! That’s twice we’ve been there. Each time excellent food. The hosts are lovely. The dining room is nice and takes a good amount of road nice away. And as a bonus for those old enough a throw back in time, you get hear a dot matrix printer again. You’ll see. Just go there.
A very home-y vibe. You can tell the owner loves what he does. Great music too. The menu is expansive and the food was delicious! The pizza crust was perfect. Plus you can get a large serving of soda water for very little money, hard to find that.
Ajee is the perfect host/chef. I had the octopus carpaccio, it took be straight back to Italy. Followed by the Prawn ravioli- to die for.
Hands down an authentic Italian feast.
Beautiful restaurant.
The food and service is a 10/10.
We couldn’t go home without coming back again!
I have been there three times, and it has been wonderful everytime.
The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, Italian and very comfortable.
The food was amazing and the pineapple juice was the best that I have ever had.
I can really recommend this place, everything was perfect!
One of the best Italian restaurants in Sanur. Went for an early dinner. The pizza dough is the best part for me. Crispy on the outside, yet chewy on the inside.
The Italian style carbonara is also nice. Good thing here is the owner explained the backgrounds of the food before we proceed with the order.
Another notable gesture: we were given some complimentary Italian stick and my son likes it so much. I asked to buy more for takeaway, which they didn’t sell apparently, but the owner gave my son a box full of it for free instead.
Thanks guys, we will be back definitely!
Good pizzas with great crust!
They even have a Hawaii pizza on their menu despite the fact that it’s against the Law in Napoli.
I really like the tomate sauce, felt so fresh and you can ask for extra chilli if you like it spicier, the owner is friendly and nice too
Normally, when the host ask you if you liked the food it is because they want to do better. Why else bother to ask?
We had lunch at this place today and ordered a Hawaii pizza (yes, I'm one of those guys), a ham and cheese sandwich with fries and one of two fish dishes on the menu, which was salmon and potatoes in a white sauce. To wash it down we ordered the only Italian red wine on the menu and two squash sodas, one with mango and the other with lemon.
Let's start with the drinks. The wine was ok at 400k rupiah, cause I know wine is expensive here. The two other drinks suffered from the usual problem, which is too much sugar and not enough fresh fruit taste.
On to the food. The highlight was the pizza, which was decent, but not the best we have had in Sanur. The owner is from Naples, which naturally upped our expectations. But again not bad. Ordering salmon in Indonesia is usually disappointing, cause the fish is not local. Our mistake. It was dry and looked like something heated from the freezer. The sauce was quite nice though.
The ham and cheese sandwich was a sorry sight. Made from thin slices of toasted bread, which was dry like a biscuit. In between ham and melted cheese which tasted like the kind of cheese you get in slices wrapped in plastic in your supermarket. I call it plastic cheese.
The accompanying french fries were extremely hard and no way near even McDonald's level. The test was dropping them from above onto the table resulting in a hard banging sound when hitting the surface. Watch your teeth.
So when we got the question "How was the food", we needed to give the owner direct feedback. To which he just laughed in our faces and mumbled something about, that he knows how to cook a salmon and that it was not frozen.
I know my salmon being from Scandinavia and this was not good.
So, maybe the other dishes live up the reviews here, but I am pretty sure we won't be back to find out.
Don't ask, if you're going to ignore the feedback anyway.
We were complimented both the sandwich and the salmon, so maybe the chef had a day off?
Loved the food and service. Everything that we ordered was just tasty! Special shoutout to the owner's hospitality!:) Would definitely recommend visiting here!
Seriously some of the best pizza I have had! The crust is perfection, crunchy yet chewy. The sauce isn’t filled with sugar like most. Overall highly recommend, my other half and I can’t get enough!
Would have given this restaurant 10 stars if possible
Ordered 3 dishes all perfect
The pasta are amazing
I don’t normally order pizza however this was probably the beat base I ever had
Unfortunately it’s not on the tourist strip but extremely easy to fined
Prices are very reasonable
Extremely friendly team
We ate here 3 nights out of 7, and can’t praise it enough. The food was absolutely devine and the staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. We received a complimentary dessert tonight which was a nice surprise. The owner is very friendly and obviously knows his business well;it really showed in his passion when talking about his restaurant. We will certainly come back next time we are in Sanur. Thank you all for making our holiday that much better!
We wanted a light lunch today and I was craving pate. Although I am not normally a true lover of Italian food, I had heard Sciue Sciue make one so I was very prepared to be disappointed. How wrong I was. The man makes pate better than the French!
Generous serve of gorgeous creamy chicken liver pate with heaps of yummy pizza type bread (don't you hate it when you order pate and get only 4 small wedges of toast). Hubby tried the smoked salmon bruschetta and found it delightful. We shared a fresh, light garden salad with shredded radish.one of my fave salad veg, and vastly under rated in my opinion.
Cappuccino to finish and thrilled to receive a complimentary shot of ice cold chococello each.chocolate heaven in a glass.
This place, with its attentive and charming owner, could well convert me to Italian food yet.
