Warung Putu ulasan
19We often eat at Putu’s when visiting Lovina. He’s a lovely host, the food is good, and the prices are cheap.
The owner is kind, the prices and foods are good. We tried every breakfast food, I recommended the banana pancake. 4 stars, because I got some ants in my sauce plate: (
Great cuisine, and a superb welcome by Putu. One of the best nasi goreng I have eaten.
Istimewa!
I would like to warn everyone against the fake courtesy of the woman who has a shop next to the restaurant. She constantly disturbs your silence, talks to you and won't let you eat in peace. She pressed me to come to her store after the meal and buy something. Pure begging. When I said that I didn't want to buy anything from her, her argument was that many tourists don't come here and that she needs customers. Just because I'm a tourist doesn't mean I'll be giving away my hard-earned money left and right. Her behavior was very rude and annoying.
This is the best Warung in Lovina! The food is amazing and cheap. Putu is an incredible
cook and the warung is welcoming and clean.
Great restaurant full of good vibes, the chef Putu is an extremely kind man, his dishes are generous and full of flavors!
We recommend 100%
Very good nasi goreng. The best I've had in 10 years. It's very good restaurant. I have been in Bali for 10 years and this is my first choice in the area now.
Putu cooks his food with his heart, the most delicious food we had in all Indonesia! Returned nearly every evening we were in Lovina (and some mornings too!)
After trekking all the way up to North Bali, we were so fortunate to have this cute little Warung right beside our homestay. We were craving for some local home cooked food, and we were so thankful to meet bak pak and taste his cooking.
As we were having near his closing time around 7pm, there weren’t much left as everything is quite picked over for the day, except Nasi Campur, Nasi Goreng or Mie Goreng.
We ordered Nasi Goreng, and turns out he gave us everything he has left for his Campur, even all of his remaining white rice without charging us extra. The flavors were amazing, albeit on the saltier side. I enjoy a good fried rice with good wok hei, which gives the nice smoky flavor, but not burnt rice. We also had some leftovers which he heated up for us without extra charge.
Our food total to only about 40k, but we paid 50k and told him to keep the change.
What makes the place special is that eating here is like eating at his very own kitchen, and tasting the food is like getting warm hugs from a grandpa.
We were so blessed to taste his food and keep him company by hearing his stories on Balinese food and how he is coping with the pandemic. Truly touched our hearts. We even back next morning to his Warung during breakfast for seconds!
If you ever get a chance to visit Lovina, definitely visit and taste the food from this special gem. Because good things like these rarely lasts forever.
Putu is very nice and welcoming - try his black rice pudding for breakfast (you need to tell him the evening before). He says it is the best black rice pudding in Bali and I believe him.
For the price you pay. It's totally value for money. Although lunch hour, you might need to wait a little cos it's just Mr. Putu cooking for you. Awesome cheap food.
Food is awesome, we order mahi-mahi, tuna, gado-gado and chicken satay.all good.owner is nice, price is unbelievably good.
Things that annoyed us are cats (which always come and ask for food) and quiet hot.
Very good Indonesian food. Very warm atmosphere, the owner, Putu is very nice and likes to talk and joke with the clients, and makes you feel at home. A must go warung in Lovina!
On the first view doesn't look extraordinary, but it really really is! The host is so friendly and lovely. You can experience Indonesia and its people at its best here!
The food, especially all the fish, is fantastic.
It comes only from the local fisherman and it tastes like this! If you are close to it make sure you go there!
Marvellous food and very nice owners. Tip: pre-order the Seafood one day in advance. Best squids I had so far in Bali.
Best nasi goreng I've had in Indonesia! Putu is a pleasure to have conversations with and you can't beat 30k for a big bintang
Amazing place! We were staying in this area for a week and every day had lunch in Putu warung. Owner is very friendly, he always gave us a bit extra food or something different to try for no extra prices. Really recommend this place.
Traditional dishes made freshly from locally caught fish. Try the grilled tuna in banana leaf, it's the best on the menu)
This warung is really good. The food is really fresh and tasty. It's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's very cheap as well. Fantastic nasi campur for $15k, large bintang for $30k, fresh smoothies for $7 or $10k, $5k for coffee, and the best gado gado I've had in Bali. The owner makes his own sauces fresh for every dish and you can tell the difference. Everything is really good. Also the owner is super friendly. Definitely come here, you'll be happy you did!
