Warung Pulau Kelapa Organic Garden

This is a beautiful placewith nuerous choices of seating areas, with clean basically organic food from their huge garden behind the restaurant. Take a walk while you wait. In the last year or so they have greatly reduced their menu which includes food from all around Id.
They seemed to have moved toward bland and boring preperation, catering to what they think tourists" like" ie Indonesian food toned down and this does not mean just not hot but lacking in herbs and spices. Dishes that are marked as spicy are generally not. When you request your dish be prepared a little spicy you are offered a good spicy sambal instead. Many dishes particularly veg are now larger than necessary and no 1/2 portion is available, same with sate. If I want sate and vegetables, I will be presented with family size portions of each! Way more than I want and the same with what are described as smaller dishes such as martabak. This is fine if you are in a group of 4 or more and want to share but if you are alone or 2 people, you won't be able to taste more than 1 or 2 items unless you have a mixed dish like nasi campur. Right After &during covid the food was excellent likely due to the fact that during covid most of their customers were Indonesian & picky about their own cuisine and many of us long time customers were remarking about how good it was! Then in last year it changed to tourist Indonesian food. I still recommend it but.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was prompt.
The food is tasty and the portions are a good size. The menu is extensive and includes meat dishes. The prices are quite cheap.
The view out back is pleasant. They have a garden which you can visit during the day.
Toilets were clean
Suitable for children.
The ambience was good with traditional Balinese artwork displayed.
I found the bench seats a bit hard on my butt. Proper seats with back support are also available.

We really enjoy this restaurant. I always need more protein and I enjoyed the ground chicken skewers and of course, the Nasi Goreng.

But you know what I really enjoy? It’s the raw onion sambal that just make everything taste even better!

The advantage of riding an iron horse is that you can smell/see unexpected rewards.

This is a pilgrimage restaurant and the food is excellent.

This time, the durian ice cream was not made, which was a pity.
The coconut ice cream also just sold out.

If you don’t come here to make a pilgrimage to Wubu, it will be your loss!

Tried a bit of everything, dumplings were very good.
They have nice garden seatings and in the front of the restaurant.
Was waiting for food a bit long though.
Overall nice place.

Buat yang ingin makan masakan Indonesia dengan view pemandangan alam ubud yang indah cocok kesini.

Rasa makanannya enak, harga wajar agak mahal sih tp karena di ubud dan tempatnya besar jadi rasanya wajar.
Ada lorong yang bagus buat foto-foto.
Ada taman di bawah.
Parkir luas.

Divine delicious amazing Indonesian and Balinese food. Nothing more to add.oh yeah - go to the back building during the day, the views of the garden are also amazing.

Very nice place with traditional Javanese ambience, and the place is huge! They have an organic garden, and the restaurant have both interior and outdoor setting. Ordered Iga Babi Bakar (must try!), Sate Ayam Madura and Iga Sapi Penyet. Really love the pork ribs, so juicy and has a strong asian taste! Don't forget to order Sinom for drink, freshly made of sweet tamarind, turmeric and rock sugar. Recommended!

First of all, of course is the good food they serve but apart of that the garden they have is gorgeous.it's worth to visit.
