Warung Gauri

I was staying at the Airbnb next door to this warung so thought, for convenience, I’d have lunch here before heading out. Oh boy was I pleasantly surprised! Theres a lovely energy here. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and you can tell that a lot of love has gone into it. The mango salad I ordered was absolutely delicious - fresh, ripe ingredients with a flavourful dressing. I went back for dinner the next day and the satay tofu/tempe was the best I’ve ever had! Their watermelon juice & fried spring rolls are tasty too and don’t get me started on dessert. Not only are there vegan options, but they are excellent. The prices are beyond humble for the food, atmosphere, view and lovely staff. Visiting this warung was a highlight of my trip and I can’t wait to return! Go out of your way to come here - you won’t regret it

A hidden gem indeed. As I write this I bask in a view of paddy fields and serene traditional Balinese music. Words can’t do justice the experience! Great tasting food. The grilled tempeh is perfect to my tastebuds. Don’t forget the Sambal Bawang. And what better way to wash it down with a cold bottle of Bintang. Ah.bliss.

Hidden gem. Ambience out the wazoo. Eating in a traditional bali house looking out to a ricefield. Hidden away from the main street and requires some hunting down small lanes to find.

Food is really great, service is friendly and attentive. Local prices. Come here for a romantic dinner.

Great little Warung with friendly staff, good food and nice atmosphere. The portions are on the smaller side but prices are really cheap so you can simply order an appetizer or plate to share if your are really hungry.
