Vive Salon & Spa Ubud

I got a pedicure here after reading many people come back from Bali with foot fungas from unclean pedicures so wanted a reputable clean space. They were very attentive and it was an amazing pedicure.

The only thing I have to say is that they should be using disposable nail filers since the types they use here are porous and not metal so it cannot be effectively sanitized. I brought my own
metal nail filer with me so I had them use that on me. I appreciated them using a new nail buffer on me. Better to be cautious than not!

I recently visited this salon for a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. The salon is popular so I recommend booking an appointment in advance. You can schedule it via WhatsApp. I felt slight discomfort during the pedicure but my feet are quite sensitive. The staff is wonderful and my overall experience at this salon was excellent!

My experience at Viva Salon was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a soothing atmosphere. I really liked the salon. She did manicure and pedicure with gel polish. The girls did it quickly, carefully and qualitatively. I chose this salon based on reviews and was satisfied. Definitely recommend.

Best gel mani and pedi I’ve ever had. Also got my hair colored/cut and they did a great job. It is small so I recommend scheduling an appointment.

Loved my haircut! The hairdresser was really nice and friendly and did a great job on the layers.

Had both acrylic in fill and pedicure treatments. Both treatments delivered expertly, to a high standard, attention to detail was amazing. I’m sure their mantra is ‘deliver what the customer wants’ I observed this for each and every client. Might be a tad more expensive than other places in the area, but definitely worth it. First visited in 2018 and the salon remains consistently great.

Went for a shampoo-cut-blow dry at Vive. Rodi (I’m sorry if I spelled your incorrectly!) was my stylist and he did a great job with my hair. Very pleased with the end result. Total cost came to 425,000IDR. They accept credit cards.

For Bali this place is really good. They claim to wash their tools in barbicide and sterilize in a sterilizer, and the salon is clean. The staff was really professional and lady performing my manicure was really gentle. Prices are a little cheaper than in Europe for a similar experience. Gel color application I would say was really good.

A nice clean nail salon, all staff were friendly and helpful. I don’t normally like getting a pedicure, but this was a very enjoyable experience. All the nail technicians were efficient and did a great job on everyone’s nails that I saw. You were also offered drinks.

Really good service - I had a manicure and they were really good and always asked along the way, was I satisfied.
In the end, they also fixed my eyebrows (without a time).

Coming from New York and this was one of the best gel manicures I’ve ever had! Ari took her time, asked my opinion and was extremely careful. Everyone was very friendly. Highly recommended!

I had the Keratin Alfaparf Relaxing Treatment yesterday with Rudy. Absolutely fantastic result. Before the Alfaparf treatment my hair felt and looked like steel wool, now it is smooth as silk - it’s really quite incredible. My hair is a medium length bob and very thick so it took around 3.5 hours but it’s definitely worth it. Can’t recommend this treatment enough for very damaged hair like mine.

Best hairdresser in Bali from my point of view:) Abril is a magician, what he did to my hair (balayage blond and haircut), I’ve never had that good before! Will 100% come back!

Rudi was friendly and kind. He did a good job at de-frizzing my hair and trimming off the dead ends.

I highly recommend Vive Salon and Spa in Ubud. The staff were all professional. I booked in advance for two people using Whatsapp and the communication was clear and organised. The manager understood that we wanted different services and booked us at the same time. Personally, I had lash and brow tint. The beautician asked what colour I wanted and checked in regularly to see if I was getting any stinging from the tint. The result was great. And there was no sting at all. I also had an amazing pedicure which required a lot of effort to buff away weeks of travel tough skin. My technician was efficient and precise. I would return to this salon any time I travel to Bali.

Inviting, clean, and comfortable salon, with vast selection of polishes and convenient location. The women there are super friendly and chatting with other customers, many are regulars for mani/pedi and all sorts of different services.

Only thing that kept me from a full five stars was that their process for maintaining my acrylics was lacking, so after two appointments (just two weeks apart) I had nails lifting within a week. I ended up finding moisture damage, so have removed them and am growing the damaged areas out so lesson learned.

It may not be the place for acrylics, but I will go to them again for my next gel mani: pedi!

Had my mink eye lash extensions with Wayaan today. Needless to say she is an artist siper genlte and sheer perfectionist. She did exactly what I asked for and spent time ensuring the end result was perfect! The lashes are so realistic best I have ever had! Thanks again
