Villandra Lovina

The Villandra is very obviously a building site at the moment. No part of the hotel escapes this fact. We booked through an app. After we had paid, in advance, we were advised that it was ‘Under renovation’, there didn’t appear that anyone else was staying. Apparently a refund won’t be a problem!
We went down to The Lovina and had a very pleasant experience. October 2023

I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Villandra for 2 nights with my family in Villa E8. This villa boasts a private access to the property and a convenient access to the beach. Villa E8, with its 2 bedrooms and spacious private swimming pool, provided us with a clean and comfortable environment. We were highly satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort of this villa.

During our stay, we noticed ongoing improvements being made, such as the addition of more rooms, the expansion of the restaurant, and even the establishment of a ballroom. These efforts demonstrate Villa Villandra's commitment to enhancement and development. On our next visit, we anticipate a livelier atmosphere and the villa becoming a preferred choice for holidaymakers. The main swimming pool, located near the beach, is particularly appealing, and the restaurant area, with its live music on select evenings, offers delightful entertainment.

However, there are certain amenities that could be further enhanced in the villa, such as providing complete dining utensils, installing a sink in the dining room area, and ensuring a more adequate refrigerator. Attention and improvements in these areas would undoubtedly elevate the quality of service and enhance the comfort of guests staying at the villa.

Overall, our experience at Villa Villandra was excellent. We were treated with utmost kindness by the helpful staff, particularly Mbok Dian and Mbok Budi at the reception, as well as Bli Komang at the restaurant, and the rest of the team. We extend our gratitude for their hospitality and service. We highly recommend Villa Villandra to travelers seeking a comfortable accommodation near the beach.

Don't want to leave. Wonderful, attentive staff, villa amazing, villa pool wonderful. Comfy bed, good food. Location.on the beach, but not much else around. Have enjoyed a relaxing 5 nights.

The rooms are spacious and very well cleaned, the staff is very pleasant and always does their best to help.
I just regret that the beach around the hotel is not better maintained.

Betah banget staycation disini, fasilitas villa bikin betah seharian. Kamar besar dengan kamar mandi dalam, ranjang juga besar. Pelayanan ramah dan sangat membantu. Lokasi mudah dijangkau dan persis dipinggir pantai jadi kalau mau main di pantai sangat mudah. Yang perlu ditingkatkan hanya variasi menu sarapan, karena selama stay disini 4 hari menu sarapan sama terus.

Kami datang kesini dalam rangka liburan keluarga, tetapi bukan disaat weekend, sehingga tidak begitu ramai tamu pengunjung.
Salah satu tempat yg luar biasa bagus dengan vila-vila indah yang didekorasi dalam nuansa Bali. Setiap villa memiliki private pool untuk berenang.
Kami menikmati layanan kamar yg baik dan responsif dari staf atau manajemen.
Dari area resepsionis menuju villa atau pantai, kiri-kanan jalan ditumbuhi oleh bunga-bunga indah dan segar. Villa E xx disebelah kanan jalan menuju pantai. Dengan kamar yang menyenangkan, relax dan sangat menikmati dalam obrolan keluarga diruang tengah meja tempat makan.
Sore hari, masih dapat juga melihat sunset yg indah dari tempat ini. Tepatnya dari Pantai yg ada di belakang atau dekat cafetaria.
Serapan pagi juga enak dan pelayanan sangat memuaskan. Makan sambil menghadap pantai, lihat orang mancing atau perahu nelayan yg lewat. Laut biru membuat selalu ingin berphoto atau selfie dengan background laut sebagai kenangan di Villandra Lovina.
Hanya semalam saja sudah menyenangkan.

Great hotel, great team, great masseuses, great room and pool, lots of nice things in the area. In short, nothing but great (we can always quibble about details but frankly.if all hotels and staffs were like that!).

Privacy, a lot of private space (private pool, huge bathroom area, hallway, luxury sleeping room), top notch wifi (80Mb/s), great staff, it is quiet and silent (in the private area). Highly recommended!

Staff is amazing - I had left my passport there when I left and thankfully they held onto it and let me know while keeping it safe. Beautiful rooms, lovely pool, great breakfast. I would happily stay here again. Very close to the monkey forest which is a must-do in Ubud.

Wow! Villandra was just extraordinary!
The location is right on the beach with beautiful views, an infinity pool, bar and restaurant.
Our villa was extremely spacious with a large bathroom and large living area! The private pool and outdoor living area was large and lovely. A towel rack would have been a useful addition, along with a bottle opener.
The could not have been more helpful, they responded quickly and courteously to our every request and we thank them sincerely.
On the downside.the food was awful. We had two breakfasts, both were disappointing. Our first dinner was ordered through room service. I had salt and pepper calamari which was described beautifully but looked and tasted terrible. My husband had spaghetti bolognaise which was best described as 'interesting'.
And second dinner was in the restaurant and I ordered Beef Rendang. I thought this would be a no-brainer in Indonesia. I was wrong. It was certainly NOT a beef rendang. Inedible.
The prices for food, drink were high.
Overall though.if they can get the food right, this is a beaut place to stay.

My friend and I were very impressed with the villa we stayed in. It was comfortable, private and looked incredible. From villandra lots of activities to do that are cheap and close by. We snorkelled close to the resort on a local boat (you could go without a boat as reef is close to beach entrance), went on tours to visit surrounding waterfalls, temples and the lake. Markets are also close by for shopping as are many restaurants that are cheap but fancy. Less tourists in area so you get to see more of the culture. The locals are very warm and welcoming. We also had a massage at the resort (the best in our trips). The staff were very helpful with every request and prompt in helping us out with everything. We are vegetarians and they came up with a different menu selection for us daily. Definitely would recommend this resort if you want high quality resort holidaying in Bali that is on a clean beach with snorkeling and waterfalls close by.

Such a beautiful and tranquil place to spend your time in Bali. The villas are next level and your own plunge pool is awesome. The staff are incredible and very amazing they have taken care of us all week feeling very spoilt. Definitely recommend the journey to the North.

Amazing place, beautiful villas perfectly decorated in Balinese style with elegant private pools.
We enjoyed the room service, the breakfast overlooking at the rice field on one side and the big poil and the beach on the other. The staff is so kind and nice, beautiful young people, always there to help and fulfill your wishes.
It was our honeymoon so they also surprised us with beautiful flower arrangements, cake and treating us very nice all the time.

We arr going to have a beautiful memory from this stay, thank you Villandra staff for everything!

The view was beautiful, on one side there are mountains and a rice field, and on the other - the sea, beautiful sunsets; the villa itself (we chose the largest - the first from the beach) is spacious and comfortable. It's a pity, but the service leaves much to be desired, the menu in the restaurant is really poor and they don't even have what is on the menucard; the staff did really his best, but does not understand English well, and when you think that they will already do or bring what you asked for, they call or come back to ask: what do you really need? The villa is a bit far from the center and they charge an unrealistically high price for transport: for a 2 hour drive they billed us for the amount we used to pay for a whole day every time and anywhere at the island.

Came the second time and stayed at Villandra, it was amazing, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and very helpful
