2 A real gem situated very close to the authentic Sukawati market and only 15 mins from central Ubud, where you will pass by the numerous art galleries and wood workshops of Mas on the way.
Going the other way (south) you’re also close to the world class surfing spot in Keramas (17 mins) or the best kite surfing in Bali, Sanur (40 mins).
Pure is a stunning terraced property, recently refurbished, with flowing water and a pool acting as a centerpiece around which the rooms and common areas are placed.
The beautiful yoga shala faces the river. All food is organic and vegan, with some of it grown on the property.

I started staying there 5 years ago whilse visiting a friend who had recently moved to that area. My friend, Jack, built a villa next door to Kusuma Sari Villa. They are both beautiful and staffed with a wonderful, thoughtful staff that the two villas share. They are a bit far from the tourist beach area but close to Ubud, one of my favorite towns in Bali.
